This is a recording of the radio session Re-CHILDING, a weekly radio program in RadioWorm (Rotterdam), where every week a new guest is invited to improvise, explore, and discuss sonic issues. Ege Şahin invited me to join one of the sessions. This was the first time we were playing together. I brought my glasses, a loop station and my voice, he brought his mad synthesizer and live effects setup, together we set off on an adventure of experimentation and sound. 

Rotterdam-based Ege Şahin makes experimental, ambient, avant-garde music in the sphere of sensibility, virtuality, and temporality. With a deep interest in the philosophy of sense, he welcomes a heterogeneous approach to aesthetics and attitude in the emergence of music.

C H I M E R A is a duo of two friends and colleagues Carolina Giannakopoulou and Domen Bohte. They started the project as a continuum of a unique chemistry that they shared in their first performance at Carolina’s graduation concert in June 2016. They continued playing together, expanding their repertoire and exploring new possibilities of arrangements. Their unique combination of a voice and a 6-string bass guitar with effects gives the listener a feeling of listening to a bigger ensemble. 
Chimera is about to release their first EP on the 25th of February!

Nursalim Yadi Anugerah is a Pontianak-based composer and multi-instrumentalist, well known for his peculiar approach to instrumentation and composition. As a composer and DIY ethnomusicologist, Nursalim has collaborated extensively with indigenous musicians to preserve and reinterpret their music through new compositions.
