Latinoamerica es un lugar privilegiado, recorrido por un inmenso camino de unión. Toda la experiencia de escuchar música moviendose por la diversidad del Perú ha quedado grabada y es una gran fuente de inspiración para este trabajo.

Una mezcla de sonidos recreados digitalmente con sonidos reales. Mucho sampling, grabaciones de campo, guitarras y bajos. El sol sale y comienza la composición, fusionando distintos estilos, y dejando que las ideas se manifiesten con libertad.

The streets were alive and well with strife and trouble. The tribes ran riot into the midnight hour and caused chaos upon the boulevards. The empty alleyways became hotbeds of violence and hatred based upon territory and towerblocks. There was no rallying cry or roar of the siren as the police had long since left this town, now it was simply vagabonds and rogues who cast a spell of bitter rebellion upon young, impressionable sorts and innocent men caught in between the cracks. 

JAKAM appears on a new split EP for Lyon based record label and friends of Ransom Note, Hard Fist. He features alongside the likes of our own Timothy Clerkin, Shadi Khries and more.

QOQEQA digs into his afro-peruvian and andean roots and shares them to the world with vibrant, electronic textures on this eleven track masterpiece. Tribal grooves and latin sounds are reinterpreted into a dream of sub frequencies and spicy rhythm sections.
