Emerging as one of the most vital producers from South America to Europe, Filmmaker is back on Veyl with the new album, Fictional Portrayals. 

Recorded in his home country in Envigado, Colombia, the release delivers 8 tracks of raw, body pursuits proving yet again that he remains at the forefront of EBM, industrial, wave and beyond. While always carrying the producer’s soundtrack influenced sound, the LP kicks off with the haunting 'All About That Pyramid' moving next to the title track’s driving energy while then shifting to the more cerebral programming of 'Possession' ft. Bad Faith Actor.

Things are just picking up with club decimators like 'Splitter' and 'Immune to Propaganda' while also switching moods with the more sinister 'Orphic Eggs' and the mesmerizing 'Continuity'. Rounding out the release is the cold, emotional ride of 'Far From Prospect', leaving us with a sense of dread while
simultaneously questioning just what is fact and what is fiction - something we never quite know in today’s multi-dimensional existence.

E.L.I. lands on MRT shores and pollutes them with all sort of filth. The label second last instalment takes us to Britain and it is one of the most aggressive so far. The distorted screams, the ultra darkness, the violent atmosphere it creates is tinted in black and white by the stroboscopic lights of underground clubs. A perfect mixture of relentless basslines and straightforward rhythmic patterns for the dancers with no cause, with no hope for tomorrow. Places made famous by death and disaster.

OSM tapes are back with a brand new limited 10" lathe cut release. We would like to welcome the Berlin based collaboration between Unhuman and Petra Flurr to the roster.

Both Unhuman & Petra Flurr are well known in the underground industrial, EBM & synth-punk scene. This time they deliver a 4-track EP "Disintegration”. Body music meets post-punk creating a symphonic blend of sounds with a gothic attitude. The queer project takes apocalyptic textures and proto body sound design and mixes them perfectly with techno and industrial keystones. Petra’s vocals drive the listener to the retrofuturistic post-industrial era of the 80s but also unleash muscles on the contemporary dystopian dance floor.
The record was produced and recorded between Tbilisi and Berlin.

Unhuman & Petra Flurr - Crabwork [OSM tapes]

2021 was the year in which we could once again enjoy a long-standing musical project like Harlem, and it was precisely on the Italian label Veyl where this Swedish duo signed Bait, the most recent release of which we are aware. Already in its day it dazzled us with the rough sound of this album and with a very updated style, in which this duo formed by Martin Thomasson and Johan Skugge intensify their sonic habitat until they manage to take the listener into a rough and murky landscape.

Harlem has been constantly evolving, and this condition is appreciated in their next release, which unlike their previous album diversifies more in terms of rhythmic structures, we can appreciate how the project adopts a creative character based on several sonic concepts.  Tracer is a six-track that will be released on the Colombian label Body Musick, owned by Filmmaker.

Tracer, the track that gives its name to the release, shows a sonic range that can transport us back to Bait, however, evidence that this album is more dynamic and forceful, as it adds, among other things, a more techno-like punch. Polygraph Eye already points you towards an industrial landscape, as do Chew It, Mesh, Salt Your Wound and Peeler, although each track has its own personality and its own rhythmic system.

Release date: January 2023.

Years of Denial is back on Veyl with their second LP 'Suicide Disco Vol. 2'. The follow up to 2019’s 'Suicide Disco', the duo makes a triumphant return, elevating their distinct sound which fuses dark wave, goth, new-beat, post-punk, EBM, and techno. The LP features 12 tracks all written and produced at Ark of Noise studio, located miles away from the polluted noise of social turbulences, immersed in isolation, creative indulgence, and poetic writing. 

From the start, 'Art Break' provides the perfect warm-up, gently cleansing the palette and re-introducing us to Barkosina’s lustful vocals with a slow-burning pace that only marks the beginning. 'Wrong' picks things up, injecting a dose of body music for an infectious piece that bleeds into 'La Pendue' which keeps the energy rising. Next up, 'Mr. Guillotine' delivers a razor sharp edge, carving out a fresh post-punk feel which then brings us to the brooding, 'Never Satisfied'. 

'Lover’s Crime' marks the halfway point of the record and one of the album’s standout tracks. Undeniably seductive with an ominous feel, the pair keep this mood going with 'City Lights' and then smash things open with 'Dancing With Demons'. After the devious message sent with 'The Letter', we are submerged in the romantic melancholia of 'Death Of A Lover' and 'Regarding the Pain of Others' before closing things out with 'Social Anxiety' which features vocals by longtime collaborator Broken English Club. The result is an immersive journey through the pair’s self described, Suicide Disco sound, and further builds on the Years of Denial form and legacy.
