AnalyticTrail welcomes back Hanubis for his second solo EP “Violence” after the previous successful release “Dish” that marked his definitive access in the scene trough the main door.

Markantonio discovered the Italian talented producer only one year ago and from that moment he became a must on the imprint. Debuting for the first time with a solo release on a big label, he caught on himself the eyes of top Djs like Charlotte De Witte who played his success “Balrog” for the "Alternative Top 100 DJs Winner DJ Set from Porto" that confirmed his growth and achievement as one of the top talented producer in the Techno scene.

Hanubis boasts a very rich catalogue releasing on many different labels over the past years like Sam Paganini’s JAM, Suara, Etruria Beat, IAMT and many more.
His style and taste of making techno is very unique. Energetic, captivating and solid loud covered with a dark mood atmosphere and epic vocals, make his EP “Violence”, that includes also “Push” and “Claymore”, a good example to represents it.

CD 1 (Mixed by John Digweed) &amp; CD 2 (Unmixed) feature 12 of these distinct producers that John and Nick earmarked as their current favourites. From the Techno of The Japanese Popstars to jozifs signature funk and house, John &amp; Nick go all out on their quota of production to generate truly special cuts alongside their much respected counterparts. On the first of the three CDs, Nicks considerable musical talents blend seamlessly with Johns vision as a DJ and unparalleled passion and knowledge for what works on the dancefloor. Like the perfectly structured sets Digweed has solidified his fame for, the Versus mix ebbs and flows to searing peaks and tranquil hypnotizers that make up an assorted blend of floor filling masterworks. While on CD 2, listeners can catch each production in its own diverse and genre jumping detail. No less than leading single Awakenings with Northern Irelands finest, Psycaton. A pounding Techno fueled number, harking back to the golden age of acid tinged basslines and urgent, frenetic drums this one made Jacques Le Cont, Russ Chimes, Danny Tenaglia, Laurent Garnier and James Zabelia go crazy for, with the latter announcing he was with John we played this in Tokyo, massive track! The 3rd and final CD is left solely to Digweed &amp; Muir, which exhibits them at their creative best. With just a handful of productions in current circulation of the two stars locking horns, eight brand new and exclusive tracks presented by the duo is a rare treat for Bedrock fans. A beautifully sculpted mix of down tempo set closers, this concluding offering is perfect for an after hours set as it lulls and coerces the listener into a suspended dreamlike state of musical serenity. Simply titled, Electronica, its the perfect end to a perfect tri-part album. Coming as a limited edition box set and vinyl, what started out as an EP of collaborations has morphed into an index of enormous hits.

Ricardo Rodrigues aka Industrialyzer, son of a musician, was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. At an early age of 14, inspired by his father’s profession, he started taking guitar classes. Two intense years later, he would already give classes in scales and music theory to young talent. Over the years to come, Ricardo joined several bands and performed at bars, concerts and festivals. 

At the age of 17 he would discover his true love to be electronic music. Starting as a bedroom DJ, he gradually started performing in Portuguese clubs as well. In 2000, Ricardo moves to The Netherlands to take a course in electronic music production. Amazed by the local techno scene, the decision to be made was quite simple: he decided to stay. New doors would open in 2003, when he became second at the I Love Techno DJ contest, and then again in 2005, by winning the Dance Parade Rotterdam DJ contest.

Parallel, Ricardo was also busy producing. He advanced and refined his sound, which didn’t come unnoticed. In 2007 also Cisco Ferreira aka The Advent discovers Ricardo’s talent. Not too long after that, Cisco releases Ricardo’s tracks on his Kombination Research imprint, followed by releases and remixes for artists like A. Paul, The Advent, Sven Wittekind, Christian Fischer and DJ Murphy. Towards the end of 2007, Cisco, Ricardo and a fellow friend Paulo Gomes start the CodeWorks label, which would with its first release immediately prove to be successful—selling out in one week. This new motivation pushed towards a new project: The Advent vs Industrialyzer.

With current releases on Drumcode, as well as the upcoming releases on MB Electronics, Beat Disaster, Theory, etc., the duo has a promising future, just as does Industrialyzer solo.
