A track I made on Logic Pro. Written in 7/8 at a tempo of 160 bpm. There's a lot of concept between this song and the previous two 'Coronograph' tracks on my album, Mirror Mesh.

A coronagraph is a device used on a telescope to block out direct light from stars (such as the sun). The purpose of this is to view objects near the star, which would otherwise be 'hidden' because of the star's brightness. 

I chose this because the three tracks are written in a structure that reflects this concept. I chose this concept because I want to reflect the 'hidden' features in a piece of music as well as the musician. Alot of people have misjudged me in the past and these songs emulate that sort-of desolate emotion you feel when someone negatively misjudges you. 

Coronagraph III (Oxylqd)

My name is Hector Fortis and I'm a musician of many sorts. This is my electronic project which, until recently, has been sort-of just a way to mess around with music and I didn't take it very seriously. But, since my band had people going in and out as bassists and vocalists, I decided I wouldn't wait around for the band to pick up and decided to start making electronic music as my primary project. I'd say I'm more experienced in making Ambient/Chill music. I started off with a want to make Progressive Trance/Dance music but it seemed a bit repetitive for me, though, I love Progressive Trance. I have made a few Dubstep/Glitchop/Drum&Bass tracks but not as primary works of music I would put out as a professional musician. Enjoy!
