This record has been made possible thanks to the wonderful people who have been by my side, both at my best and at my worst. "Power Saving Mode" is about growth—about failing repeatedly until you strike the right chord, until you do the right thing, all while gradually advancing in the process of self-discovery and understanding your roots.

I've come to realize that, no matter what, this journey takes time. But time flies when you feel at home. And let me tell you: "home" is not always what we initially think. It could be a room, a house, or a car, but it could also be the mere presence of someone else. Whatever makes you feel secure, warm, and helps clear your mind—that's home. This space has been essential for me, enabling me to create fond memories with wonderful people whom I cherish. That sentiment is one of the cornerstones of this project.

To all of you—you know who you are—without you, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Thank you. This album is for you.

To everyone who's fighting daily on the front lines of their personal revolutions, and to those who feel constantly misunderstood or left behind: no matter how dark and ugly things can get, it's always worth persevering. This album is also for you.

And finally, to everyone causing harm to others, either knowingly or unknowingly: I hope this body of work encourages you to find yourselves and question your actions. As Zahara tells on her song "Joker": the one who's the most broken, the one who's the saddest, the angriest one is who needs the hug the most.
It's never too late to change for the better, but to do so, you must start with your inner self. This album is also for you.

Lo que el resto de gente ve como una sola persona es, en realidad, un conjunto de múltiples facetas que al ser combinadas, forman la percepción que otros tienen de uno mismo. Cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles, esas partes pierden su armonía y empiezan a dañarse entre sí, tirando cada una hacia su propio lado y quitando espacio al resto. La negatividad comienza a pesar más y más y el sentido de orientación se pierde. Sientes que te estás perdiendo en la incertidumbre y entras en un estado de pánico, un estado en el que es difícil controlar qué se siente y mucho menos averiguar por qué. En esos momentos, conectar con cada una de esas facetas y mantener un diálogo con el resto es esencial para recuperar esa armonía inicial.

The perception that people have of you is the sum of all the different parts that you're made of. When things get difficult, these parts lose their harmony and start harming each other. They start pulling to their own sides and not allowing space to the rest, causing conflict between them. Negativity starts weighing more and more and you lose track of who you are. You can't help but feel like you're getting lost in the uncertainty and you enter a state of panic, a state where it's hard to control what you feel, let alone know why you feel that way. In these moments, connecting with every one of these parts and dialoguing with the rest is essential in order to recover the initial inner peace.

"Are you a one or a zero?"

I keep on repeating this question to myself all day long.
We all have our own dreams, our own goals, our own causes we fight for. We carry our own revolution, one where we keep on fighting against all odds in order for these dreams to become true. Call it overcoming your fears, working on your own projects or dedicating your life to becoming who you want to be: this shit takes time, effort, it drains us yet here we are, fighting on the front line in our revolution.

The answer to the question below is quite obvious: if you step back, if you leave your revolution, you become a zero. If you stay, if you keep on fighting, you become a one. No one said it would be easy. It certainly isn't easy. But it isn't impossible.

So, I'll ask you again: Are you a one or a zero?

This is a track I made while being deeply inspired by the mindset I've acquired in the last 2 years. The influences that contributed to said mindset are mainly two: Mr. Robot and i_o.

Mr. Robot is the TV show that not only opened my eyes about computers, but also showed me the spirit of fighting for what you cherish. It's the show where I took the "are you a one or a zero" quote from. It also included "Love On A Real Train" on its soundtrack, and I was inmediately hooked to it as soon as I heard it.

i_o is, by far, the artist that has impacted me the most. Not only because his music is incredible, but because he was one of the most authentic persons I've ever known of. His music, his style, his charisma was unique and authentic, and allowed him to do his own thing in a way I've never seen anyone else do before. Don't sell your soul to whatever the public wants or someone else says. You do you, and no one else can do you.

Combine the hardworker spirit from Mr. Robot and the importance of being authentic from i_o, and you get what I meant on the text below. This track is a call for everyone to fight for their own dreams, while looking for authenticity and meaning in their actions.

The first single from Power Saving Mode, my debut album, is out now.

These are the lyrics from an unreleased Avicii track ("Promises of Tears") that was leaked several years ago. As some of you may know, I started making music back in 2012-2013, largely inspired by him. The meaning of this track is strikingly similar to that of "Passenger Of Inertia," particularly as I began to re-listen and relate to Tim's track during some of my lowest points.

In the context of "Power Saving Mode," this song serves as the album's opening track. It captures the feeling of being unable to think, act, or accomplish things on your own due to mental exhaustion. When you enter your own "Power Saving Mode," you often become a passenger of your own inertia.
