Recession - Hope - Anger - Accept - Despair

Inspired by artists like Do Make Say Think and Polmo Polpo, this is an early draft of a guitar driven theme supported by dual drums and bass. The idea is to explore the many possible variations, letting the theme unfold over time.

Inertia Reign is a Copenhagen based Post-rock project. The style is melancholic, progressive, instrumental post-rock, hugely influenced by the Montréal Post-rock scene with bands such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Silver Mt. Zion, Do Make Say Think, Set Fire to Flames and more.

"Recession - Hope - Anger - Accept - Despair" was the first demo made during a 3-day recording session in 2009, in a cabin in the Swedish woods near Jönköping.
