Where I've Been

It was bugging me that there was no good instrumentals for this, I found only one but it was outdated and sounded super off, so I tried to be as close as I could to the original and recreate it myself.

The Taxi show actually had a slightly different version of Angela by Bob James, with trumpets and whatnot (I believe they're trumpets.) and the beginning sample was slightly different and that's what Souls of Mischief mostly used. So while WhoSampled IS right that they did use a little bit of it, most of the beat was made using the Taxi theme. If you're wondering what bitcrusher I used, it was kHs Bitcrush. The bitrate was 16 kHz.

I had to do a little bit of EQing on the sample, and I DID use a little bit of Angela for the beginning sample, the only part I used the Taxi theme for that beginning sample was for the part right before the flute came in, everything else there was Angela. BUT that's the only time I used the original, everything else after that IS the Taxi theme. (That's kinda why in that beginning sample it sounds a bit wonky, it never really fit correctly but that's the only way it would work.)

PS: Forgive me if the bpm and pitch are slightly different, that was as close as I could get them to be.
