It is a great pleasure to announce our second release on QEONE. This time the talented producer Saša Delimar aka Infinity produced some outstanding sound design goodies. The EP is called 'Sreća' which means happiness in the Croatian language. He managed to create an extremely organic feeling with a very digital timbre, which is reflected by references from the bass music genre and also inspired by some attributes of IDM music. He fused all of that and many more influences with the genre of Deep Techno which results in a great mixture of styles in one piece.

Infinity (Saša Delimar) is a Croatian born, Berlin based music producer and DJ
with over 13 years of experience in dj-ing, carving his name steadily as a music
producer since 2017, first through releases in a domain of the deep techno and
more recently taking the turn into the sphere of experimental techno holding on to
the nuances of deep drone textures arranged with accentuated percussions.

To date, he has been released on labels like IO, Illegal Alien records, Lowless,
Lett record and Oslated.

Saša’s chief preoccupation in music production is finding the balance between a
track for home listening and playing in the club, equally embracing the
experimentation of texture and composition and the rhythmical intensity of the
club track.

In the short time since he lives in Berlin, Saša has already performed in
renowned Berlin clubs like Suicide Circus, Griessmühle, Fiese Remise and
recently //: about blank, taking up residency at Art Bei Ton.

Continuum: a coherent whole characterized as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees. 

When asked about music genres, labels, or styles we enjoy… we often see the lines blurred. Sound palettes merge forming new colours, depth, and texture. Is it psychedelic techno? Is it drone ambient? Is it dub or downtempo? We see it as a continuous flowing mixture of deep, introspective, mental, and mind-bending sounds. We see it as a CONTINUUM. 

After exploring the notes of our particular continuum through our monthly podcast Selene Series, we thought it was time to invite others to pilot the spaceship through The Continuum and for us to enjoy on the passenger’s seat.

The Continuum will not be a monthly podcast, but a spontaneous celebration of the music creators that we most admire and enjoy. No scheduled uploads, and no agenda… but a free-flowing drop of sound for you to enjoy. As we join the dots to try to map out The Continuum, some of these dots are tightly close, and some of them are few and apart, and that’s fine, so will be our journey. 

The visual component of The Continuum will be delivered by the wonderful Tony Fibla. Her paintings of free-flowing, merging, and colliding colours and textures perfectly match the spirit of The Continuum (see above ;)). Her images full of nuance and intention are the ideal co-pilot for our sonic captains. 

We hope you enjoy your trip through The Continuum. 

Sasa Delimar is the first artist to place the starting dot in The Continuum podcast series. A master in intricate sound design, his productions caught our attention early on and many have found their way into our Selene Series mixes. No wonder why he has released in some heavyweights of the deep techno scene like Aleja Sanchez’s Northallsen or Polygonia’s Qeone. 

But his selections as Infinity also deserve their flowers: Monument, Crescent London, Parallel Perception or Hypnus’ The Memoir have been enchanted by his wizardry. 

It is an honour to feature the Croatian producer and dj in our new podcast series with one of his rituals and to have him slipping the first stitch as we weave the sonic cloth of our Continuum.

A warm welcome back to Berlin based Saša Delimar who released his beautiful EP ‘Sreča’ with us a while back. He crafted the fifth episode of our SoundSculptors series, a live set which offers loads of juicy textures and loads of interesting sound design experiments. He tells a story which appears full of tension and movement within each element. It’s a snapshot of one particular mood shown from many different angles. Saša offers his very own fusion of genres and styles, creating his own sonic language. Listeners can find characteristics from Glitch, Techno, bass music and other influences. 🥁

Saša started his label in 2023, mainly to release his own music, which he had been producing non-stop over the past 6 -7  years. During those years, a lot has changed both stylistically and technically, but the music has always kept a similar essence. It’s a combination of techno, IDM, and glitch, all packaged with a focus on listening experience in mind rather than club play.
So far, the label has released over 40 records, and this is just the beginning of the story. This recording represents the entire journey. All the music is previously unpublished, created in the studio specifically for Oslated’s special series.

Saša is also very active outside his own label, with releases on respected imprints such as Huinali Recordings, Qeone, NFEREE, and Pyramid Blood.

I’m pleased to share a new series of releases where I invite artists I’ve admired for years to remix my tracks. Each release will feature my original music alongside one or two remixes, bringing a fresh perspective to each project.

The first release, XERO, welcomes Steve Braam, aka Orca Silent from Canada.
