Framework presents the sophomore edition of TOWER Imports, a limited mix series designed to incorporate international artists into New York's TOWER project. 

This entry comes from born and raised Amsterdam producer, DJ, and multidisciplinary artist @Yb3L. Throughout the mix, they establish several long-distance, electrical connections in preparation for the next edition of TOWER, April 25 at Bossa Nova Civic Club in Brooklyn.

"To those that follow forward radio channels such as Kiosk and Future Intel, as well as clubs like Garage Noord and POING, the name Yb3L should ring a big bell. Through heavy breaks, bouncy rhythms, futuristic bass and infectious bangers with a mystical touch, this rising DJ/producer is pervading the most adventurous areas of the Dutch scene. AINES (they/them) is a Barcelona-based DJ and producer who explores genres like bass, breaks, dub, and jungle, drawing inspiration from UK sounds and emphasizing broken rhythms, intensity, and groove in both their sets and productions. The project is based in their personal exploration, embracing continuous change and fluidity of genres. Committed to the local scene and enhancing diversity both inside and outside the booth, AINES has played at Sónar Festival, Embassat, Intercell, and some of the most iconic clubs of Spain, continually pushing boundaries and expanding their influence in the scene.

New episode of Bootleg Trails is taking us to Leipzig with three subby mixes by BSSMSSG crew members.

Tico is spoiling us with new and older favorites spiced up with 2 recent collaborations with Demegy. On a slower tip somewhere in between Dubstep, Dub Techno and Drum & Bass.

Old Man Crane delivers a set of percussive, dubby and technoid tunes she has not played yet including some new and unreleased tracks.

LXC mixed Bassmæssage, 45Seven & Alphacut Dubs in summer 2024 featuring vibezig fammalay, forthcomings and sum goldies from their cutalogues. Bassmæssage is the oldest and most consistent bass night in town. alphacut records is the only experimental jungle label in the german speaking area with 45seven joining the dubby soundsystem forces on dinked singles.

lxc (it/its) is tinking audio since the nineties. started producing and playing live, launching a bunch of labels and discovered mastering, mixdown and lathe cuts along the way. also helping out at some subby nights around Leipzig and beyond.

Introducing two sub-saxon local matadors.

Besides djing and managing culture in his area GÖRG ( @_g8rg_ ) also hosts the annual Untenrum bass music night with Lorem Ipsum Soundsystem at BASTA in Görlitz.
At the Bootleg Trails base camp he delivered a fiery mix of wonky, chill and alarming Dubstep tunes on vinyl.

On 28th of December an event called “Family Treasures” took place at objekt klein a ( @objektkleina ) in Dresden’s industrial district. It’s a revived Christmas tradition of the collective Deeper Access ( @dpr_xs ). 
In the second half of this Bootleg Trail you can hear FORV3RT ( @erik_forv3rt )  increasing the tempo from Grime to Drum’n’Bass during the final set of this local scene meeting.

Clemency presents References - her debut EP for Finn’s 2 B REAL. Three deceptively simple percussive pieces, both awkward and elegant.

Each track on the EP feels almost living and breathing; sparse, dissonant synths meet intricate drums and juddering basslines, effortlessly creating momentum and motion across the record.

‘References’ is Bethany Clements Patrick’s first EP under the Clemency alias. She’s a regular behind the decks at Partisan, Soup Kitchen & The White Hotel, and co-runs Manchester’s Mutualism club night, label & NTS show.

Using causality and repetition as a conceptual framework, the release comes with a selection of Clemency’s own references for the record, which includes poetry, literature, geographic coordinates, music and cosmetics - presented at clemencyreferenc.es
