Hibernation is at an end: it’s 2023 and Aniara Recordings are back. Dorisburg delivers the first of three new Aniara 12” releases. A-side ”Voices” continues right where the Swedish label left off with its signature sound in 2019: 9 minutes of evocative minimalism that’s as entrancing as it gets. On the flip side we find ”Skulptur 7”, a haunting, atmospheric dancefloor cut in the inimitable style of Dorisburg.

After launching their first Soft Limits event a few months ago with their friend Feenicks, Raketa95, duo composed of Jesse and Theo, are releasing their very first mix for Infame radio. From 135 to 160 bpm, this high-energy ride takes the listeners to some experimental twists and turns.

Before the second edition of Soft Limits at Ankali beginning of August, the softies will present a short series of mixes from local. artists.

Feenicks, American born and Prague based DJ, musician and event organizer has found a comfortable spot in Prague’s diverse nightlife. As one of the founders of Soft Limits Feenicks has been attempting to celebrate a groovy and colorful range of club oriented sounds which has been inspired by elements of bouncy trance, UK bass and left field techno. 

This mix serves as a representation of Feenicks’s diverse taste, something he happily explores through the Soft Limits lens.

For Soft Limits Surrealita prepared a club oriented mix where four-on-the-floor meets broken beats and heavy bass with no genre limitations. The selection consists of both new and older releases with a touch of groovy dancefloor euphoria as well as sound exploring the darker areas. Surrealita is a DJ based in Olomouc where she took her first DJ steps back in 2018. She is a co-founder of Dekadance collective which you may know from their Infame residency series Dekadancing.

Set by co-founder Theo, exploring bouncy trance, baile, and jersey club

TENO is rooted in minimal and straightforward techno, meticulously constructing a rhythm with deep, oscillating basslines and a rhythmic, minimal groove at the top. He passionately and stoically plays music to the point where sound and body become one. His tracks leverage the analog sounds of modular synths and have been released in five countries including Japan, Germany, Spain, the UK, and Canada. This year, he announced a release from Room Trax, based in Berlin/Barcelona. On August 23, 2022, he established his techno label "Aum Recordings". To celebrate the 1stEP release, his DJ set was live-streamed both domestically and internationally from SUPER DOMMUNE in Shibuya, Tokyo. On October 26, 2022, he contributed a mix to the Parisian podcast "CONCEPTUAL VIOLENCE". He's successfully hosted events under "Harmonie", inviting top techno artists from around the world. In April 2023, he will be opening for BEN SIMS in Osaka, demonstrating his broad musicality and consistent performance, which is highly regarded both in Japan and abroad.

PREMIERE : Koscoy - FluxE [Sephora Recordings]

Koscoy is an a artist who is characterized by her music selection and versatility. 

She is a musical explorer who loves seeking material that allows her to create atmospheres with immersive narratives filled with rare, organic, hypnotic, and profound sounds. She has discovered that these sounds are the key components of her signature rhythm.

Throughout her life, she has always been exposed to a tremendous diversity of electronic music which has helped her to build up the foundation to her career as a DJ.

Before getting immersed into the decks, Koscoy collaborated in several creative collectives as a Visual Artist allowing herself to explore her artistic proposal through visual communication and mapping.

Nowadays, she has released some tracks with local labels of Mèxico City but this will be his debut album and she will continue working on her own production projects.

Brakuje zarówno zjawiska “narkoedukacji” jak i ogólnodostępnego wprowadzenia do bycia  uczestnikiem życia nocnego. Podczas naszego czwartego wydarzenia w Warszawie na ten temat dyskutowały lokalne kolektywy i organizacje, m.in. Kolektyw Chemia, Miazmat i Społeczna Inicjatywa Narkopolityki.

The club culture's relevance in Poland is underrated and often perceived as a 'dark zone'. There's a lack of both drug education and easily accessible introduction to participating in nightlife. During our 4th event in Warsaw, local grass-roots collectives and organizations, including Kolektyw Chemia, Miazmat, and Społeczna Inicjatywa Narkopolityki, discussed the matter.
