This song which i wrote/recorded in 2015 is literally based on a time in my life where i was quite doubtful about everything really... As all creatives i am sure that your ART is a way of expression and a way to release and arrive at a place of tranquility... I cherish this song because i know exactly where i was and what i had experienced to allow this form of light to transpire.
PULSE has since been on my laptop and has served me very well at the hardest times its reminded me of who i am and what my core morals dwell and depend on. I hope you can relate to this and i hope it serves you in the same way it has me. Thank you to WeaponXbeatz for supplying me with the beat - it was such a pleasure to collaborate with you this and I'm sure its the first of many.

I specifically wanted this project to sound like what a child from Kunte Kinte and Maya Angelou, also raised with the help of your not so average black woman (my mum) would sound like if he rapped. But I have noticed I just naturally find my ear sitting with jazz influenced sounds.
