The next United Beats edition will be presented by our good old friend, French music producer, Frédéric Holyszewski, better known as Dado and Deedrah. Before his set we're going to catch up on the goings-on since we last talked past January.

Dado aka Frédéric Holyszewski repeatedly woos crowds and longtime fans to the beat of his new productions. Ranging from solo projects as Deedrah, as he is known in the circuit since 20 years now, or the most recent band formed little over 4 years ago, the KromeAngels, , he stands to face anywhere between 5 to 30 thousand eager fans on gig!!.

Once in the scene in the mid 90’s as a self-made rock band, Vision Quest, Dado met Christophe Drouillet with whom he would form the legendary group Transwave. In only 2 years they reached mind blowing success releasing 4 full length albums in total. The duo gained first hand experience selling and producing the entire CDs themselves from creating the sleeves, recording the albums, and even directing the first video for the international trance hit “Land of Freedom”. The band, more active than ever, performs relentlessly in front of music thirsty dance floors!!

All this experience eagerly propelled Dado to create his first ever studio in a Paris basement. In ’97 he created QuestionMark records to form a structure for French and international artists providing not only a label for promotion but also supporting a recording and production system. The first Deedrah album “Self-Oscillation” was released under this label, as well as 3 compilations “The Groovebox”, “ Anologique” and “Digitale”. The first album “Cypher” was released with the cooperation of TWISTED Rds. UK. Under QuestionMarks label Dado worked alongside artists like TSUYOSHI, SUZUKI, ASTRAL PROJECTION, TALAMASCA, GMS, TOTAL ECLIPSE and remixed for bands like THE DELTA, HALLUCINOGEN , ASTRIX ,KOXBOX and KILLING JOKE.

As if not enough, Dado created another alias “SYNTHETIC” first releasing the fantastic Metalgear with TWISTED Rds, then releasing the first album on SOLSTICE MUSIC. Synthetic being now the alias of choice for more techno 125 bpm oriented recordings ( on labels like IBZ recordings or Mago Mago RDS )

The Dado snowball picked up momentum growing like an avalanche and he, together with DMT NAKOV and SERGE SOUQUE of Total Eclipse came together to form GBU (The Good, The Bad & The Ugly ) still playing at the most important festivals of the techno scene: Sonica, The Glade , Mother Festival and Solstice Music Festival in Tokyo. Dado kept busy through contracts with Sony to compose the opening tune and sound effects of the ps2 game Grand Turismo3. Parts of his studio activitIes being nowadays designing loops and sounds for IOS applications ( alongside japanese company "total immersion" based in tokyo )

Instantly his presence became known through his sexy melodic beats, Dado inevitably began attracting world-wide attention to his DJ sets and Lives in destinations all over the world, gaining the opportunity to work alongside different talent who still regard him as a master in the engineering and technical aspect of music production…. His talent and knowledge of music is wide spread as his versatility in style. This is reflected in his multiple groups or ‘personalities’!!! Soon to be released this year a series of Synthetic ep s and and the long awaited second opus from ‘Federico Baltimore’ alter ego!! Loyal fans can be pleased to know that he is hard at work with new and fifth Deedrah album to be released september 2013 .catch him around the word during kromepressings label parties or during this summer biggest festivals !

The very first edition of On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 is kicking off with SOUTHWILD (aka Jay of Rastaliens) and some wild and inspirational things spiced with a special mix to build up our appetites for the new Southwild album.

Jay is a electronic music producer from the south(wild) Black-Forrest in Germany. Together with his friend Ralph(Braincell/Solarspectrum)he foundet the psychedelic trance project Rastaliens about more then 13 years ago... over the years of playing in clubs and festivals worldwide Rastaliens got well known by manny people for psytrance with an funny unique style.

Southwild is Jays new project and 2010 he joined the UK based label Wildthings records wich is a solid established label for twisted positive psychedelic trance.
Jay is ready to release his debut album on Wildthings records in the near future so as serveral tracks on compilations on Wildthings,Peak records and Mind Funk.

He also works with other musicans arround the globe and did collaborations with Ajja,Evp, Ekoplex,Primordial Ooze,Random, Braincell and other friends in the psytrance scene.

Jay also works as a mastering engeneer in Toronto/Canada where he has his studio based.He mastered serveral projects from chill out /down beat to all sorts of electronic music.

The second edition of On the Way to O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 stars a true pioneer of Russian night psytrance and radiOzora resident from the very beginning, FUNGUS FUNK who's with us to spread some spores and sounds that we can look forward to this summer in the Ozorian valley.

Fungus Funk aka Sergey Prilepa, the legendary Russian psytrance artist began writing psychedelic tunes right before the Millenium and started to release the first Fungus Funk tracks in 2001 on record labels like Acidance Records, Discovalley or Crystal Matrix and many others. His famous debut album called “F People” came out on Acidance in 2006 overflowing with groovy baselines, aggressive synths, warm melodies and those signature psychedelic atmospheres you can still experience on every Fungus Funk release ever since, be it an own composition or a remix made for a fellow musician. The second full-length Fungus Funk album found his home at half Russian, half Australian label Blitz Music, where Sergey released his third and last album to date as well in 2010 called “Electric Grooves”.

The original Fungus Funk sound always keeps a masterful balance of complex textures and arrangements that lead the listener through a deep and interesting journey of that hazy period of time between the psychedelic night and morning. These days Fungus Funk is busy working on the material of his forthcoming new studio album and interesting side-projects such as releasing under the name Astroff or collaborating with fellow psytrance musicians like Para Halu, Obliviant, Drip Drop, Virtual Light and more.

Interview with FUNGUS FUNK | On The Way To O.Z.O.R.A. 2016 Main Stage | 16/01/2016

After a half year and six editions the United Beats Records Series California-based veteran psytrance producer Nika a.k.a. MEKKANIKA is back on radiOzora.

Nicolas Oesch (a.k.a. Nikka) is the musical creator behind the psytrance Mekkanikka. He has been releasing music since 1999. Born In Switzerland, Nikka has been driven by music his whole life, from, performing as a dj at an early age to playing guitar and Bass in various bands, ranging from Punk, rock, alternative, to jazz. Nikka has been perfecting his music and production skills for many years in order to achieve a specific sound, instantly recognizable on the dance floor. He has been involved in the trance scene for the past 15 years, from party goer to producing one of the finest psy trance out there.
His musical journey eventually, led him to California. There he started a recording studio in the seaside town of Santa Cruz, a few miles south of San Francisco, the very psychedelik city. There he recorded local bands and began his career in audio production. This where he meet Max Peterson (Mad Maxx) and started going to psy trance parties in the SF area, LA to northern California. Along with Samy Guediche (CPU) the trio started the project “Biodegradable”, allowing them to perform a bit more in north America and Canada.

After joining the famous CCC psychedelik collective warehouse in San Francisco, Nikka got completely involved in the local psy scene playing dj sets and performing live at many parties, indoor and outdoor venues and festival leading him to perform at the infamous Burning man festival.
After the first album of Biodegradable, Nikka started Mekkanikka and released his first solo album on Germany’s legendary psytrance label, Spirit Zone. Receiving instantly a great response from international dance floors, leading him to launch an international career and release more music on many compilations and albums with label such as, Phantasm Rec, Nutek record, Neurobiotic, 3D vision rec, Planet Ben rec,… among others.

Mekkanikka has since then become an established name in the trance scene. He is well known for his high energy live performance and has been delivering sets all around the world sharing the stage and/or the studio with numerous artists…including GMS, TRISTAN, EARTHLINK, MAD MAXX, PAINKILLER, A TEAM, BLISS, AZAX SYNDROM, XSI, PERFECT STRANGER, ETHNICA, KOXBOX, CAPTAIN HOOK, CPU, MENOG, TRON, RAJA RAM, DIGITAL TALK, VIBE TRIBE, TICON, INTERSYS, TALAMASCA, ABSOLUM, JOHN PHANTASM, TRON, ESKIMO, and many more….

Nikka is finishing his new album called “Jedi tricks” to be released on United Beats Rec in the begining of 2013. This new opus will take you on a journey of warmth, top notch production, psychedelic tales of sounds, candy wrapped in a plastic landscape of melodies and music…

In 2001, Zimbabwe born Adam Metcalfe moved to Cape Town & fell in love with Psy Trance. This passionate affair has seen him become one of South Africa’s top electronic exports, headlining festivals all over the globe. His 2008 album ‘Artelligent’ (Nano Records) has been labeled a trance classic! 2016 sees Adam blending progressive and fullon in true Headroom style, while continuing his quest for sonic excellence, originality and a highly awaited follow up album.

On our way to Ozora 2016 we caught up with one of the festivals’ all-time residents ATMOS a.k.a. Dominic Thomas.

It all started in the early seventies when a young boy saw television for the first time. Instantaneously fascinated by different soundtracks and jingles, a deep interest for music was born. After a short bedroom dj career, Tomasz decided to produce his own music and thanks to a natural talent, he released his first single in 1996 on Pablo Gargano’s label, EVE records. It sold very well and gave him both zest and confidence to strive for more. His influences from electronic and ambient-rock music like JM Jarre and Pink Floyd quickly formed a style that was to make him one of the most successful producers in hypnotic and atmospheric trance. Under this trademark, Atmos had released 4 albums, loads of singles and has countless appearances on compilations but more important – his music has been embraced, played and loved by such a broad spectra of people, ranging from the top 10 djs to aspiring bedroom djs all over the world. Tomasz has also been touring all parts of the world, to every possible kind of event, for well over 15 years now and with great success. His sense for merging rhythm programming with delicate strings into a well-produced groovy sound is guaranteed to make everyone get down to the dance floor and that has made him an installment to count on in events all over the place.

Dirty Saffi is a husband and wife team of DJ Nuky, and Al from Psymmetrix, Co-founder of Bom Shanka Music and one half of Psymmetrix. Together Nuky and Al combine a love of mixing with a love of producing to make the Dirty Saffi sound that really does make dancefloors dance. In March 2013 they released their debut album ‘Beauty and the Bitch’ and since then they have played all over the world, released a second album in march 2015 called ‘Umami’ and are now focused on making their next album, which they haven’t got much done for yet!

Interview with DIRTY SAFFI | Bom Shanka Music Series #1 | 27/08/2016

DJ GOVINDA of the Believe crew is joining us on air again with some goodness for this 3-in-1 feature show presenting Believe Lab’s newest release, the Jungle Calling compilation, and bringing us news of this last summer season and the upcoming one in Goa, topped with a special mix to wet your appetites.

Govinda is an Italian dj and psytrance party organizer. Born in 1986 to parents who had been traveling for many years, he grew up living in Goa experiencing its magic and freaky context from an early age. His first party in 1999 brought a full understanding of the Goa reality with its emphasis on freedom, and manifested his attraction to trance music. He started collecting music and playing it, at first with a Minidisc player and later with CDJs. In 2002, Govinda played his first dj set in the well-known Ninebar in Goa, thus marking the beginning of his dj career. He instantaneously loved the feeling of enjoyment he could provide through music and the palpable interconnection that forms on a dancefloor. After a practice season, he was soon playing in the main legendary party spots in Goa: Discovalley, Paradiso, Primrose, Monkey Valley, Hilltop and many more. In 2005, he was signed to Spun records (the GMS label). Two years later, he went on his first international tour where he played along artists such as GMS, Pixel, Alien Project, Spacecat, Domestic, Perplex and Psysex, in Thailand, Nepal, Goa as well as several European countries. During the Goa season of 2007/2008, Govinda started following a different vibe and looking for a more psychedelic sound that would best fit his personality. At the time, Phatmatix, Digital Talk and Concept were his favorite artists. At the Mountain Madness Festival in Nepal of 2008, he played a set right before Ajja and fell in love with his sound. The meeting also started a connection with Peak Records, which later led to Govinda being signed on as a label dj. While frequently performing at Goan hotspots such as Club Westend, Hilltop, Ninebar and Shivavalley, he created with a group of friends the NightRainbow Project, a Goa-based party organization responsible for more than ten parties in the first season of its existence. The sum of all his experiences finally took the the shape of the organization/label Believe Lab, founded by him and a few other fellas. Today Govinda and Believe Lab have been an important operator in international festivals in Italy, as Blackmoon Festival, Sonica. Believe Lab actively organized its own festival, 7 Chakras, where Govinda and his crew finally have the chance to promote positive messages as environmental awareness and self respect to people through music. His musical journey is not over yet and his dj sets are just fitting more and more any kind of psychedelic dancefloor.
