Incubation

I was going through some old archives and found our first ever recording. Man, we started out pretty doomy with some really non-committal rhythms and a slightly dubious vocal style. This one's here for posterity.

Airtight

Caution is one of two songs released on our stand-alone split A-side single 'Excess/Caution'. It was written during the same sessions as our 2nd album 'vanity project' but isn't featured on that album, which you can find at https://infictions.bandcamp.com/album/vanity-project.

Written and sung from the point of view of a disgruntled nationalist.

Caution

I stepped into the deepest chamber of the sandstone structure, somewhere between but beyond the Corinthian and Palace Tombs. Cutting through the murky, suffocating darkness was a striking, seemingly tangible shaft of light. The wall to which its end point directed me released these sounds as I scratched away its surface.

inFictions are a Sheffield, UK-based alternative/post-rock/progressive rock type outfit comprised mainly of Ed Cartledge, Gareth Hughes, Tom Chaffer and James Fosberry.
