Based in Greece, Dizharmonia is a duo that has been gaining a great deal of recognition as of late. With a main influence deriving from old school progressive sounds and an approach towards more modernistic techno, Dizaharmonia is a project that is certainly not afraid to push “musical” boundaries.

Making their debut on French based Deep House and Techno record label Nagual Research, ‘Thonis’ is one of three original productions from the Vivlos EP, alongside remixes from BAAL and Nick Varon.

Welcome to the wonderful world of JOBE, a dynamic and driven deep house / techno artist with a firm grasp on mood and motion. This latest EP, Orcus, showcases JOBE's deft hand at effortlessly manipulating energy and emotion while leading the listener ever onward. Ultimately the boundary-pushing three-piece EP is an intoxicating glimpse of an unreachable and engaging dimension.

The EP introduces itself with certainty and drive from track one, “Orcus”, which reverberates off of both futuristic and barbaric basslines and floats with eerie energy. The curious track slowly but surely swells into being as the pace quickens into an energetic crescendo and extends further into an intriguing dream world.

Track two, “Dissolusion” turns the EP in a slightly different direction; a sultry and succinct statement of being, realized through concise melodies and rebellious undertones. The song feels like an all at once fluid and unyielding version of human existence; a poetic state of both bliss and angst.

The EP then delves from “Dissolusion” into “Dystopia”, a decidedly darker and more driving definition of the material world. The song eases from an aura of lightness and intrigue into a vacuum of mystery and worldly decay. From start to finish, there is an undeniable fascination in the fabric of this created universe. We will eagerly await the next chapter in the growing repertoire of JOBE.

"The 9th release of Infinite Depth will be in the name of the Italian producer Recode. Three well shaped originals accompanied by two great remixes by respectively the Italian Alberth and Dutch newcomers Convolute.

'Irreale' is the title track of the EP. It's a track with a catchy melody and interesting arrangement of percussion. It brings a lot of groove with in between the groove lingering breaks, creating impressive moments.

In the remix by Alberth, he replaced the groove for a more atmospheric techno approach. With his typical deep and immersive sound, he managed to create a very suitable remix, which is perfectly in line with the original track.

The third track is called 'Artefatto'. In this track Recode took his groove to an even higher level by letting the percussion and bass communicate in a unique way.

'Sospiro' could be seen as the most optimistic track of the EP. A beautiful melody, which floats fluently through the track, is connected with a matching lead, which are shaping a dazzling ambiance together.

The remix of 'Sospiro' by Convolute could be seen as driving version of the original track. They took the main idea of the original and surrounded it by some more progressive sounds. To keep the emotion they managed to add a touching synth, which gives the EP a powerful end."

The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Sean and Dee back to the label for their debut EP. The Italian duo first appeared on the Greek imprint in January of last year with a remix of 'Resurrection' by V-Cious and Trapped In Time. Releases on BeatFreak Recordings, ICONYC, Outta Limits and UV following, making for a hugely successful 2019. Now kicking off the new year in style, Sean and Dee present their 'Phoenix' EP alongside remixes from Starkato and Forniva.

Beginning with the title selection 'Phoenix' Sean and Dee move into dark territory with a punchy groove, charged rhythms and devilish stabs. Both foreboding and mysterious, it's flair for the dramatic grows as astral arps and luminous tones lead to an expansive break. The narrative then shifts with an emotive motif and glowing atmospheres providing a sense of calm, before getting washed away into a sea of dark beats and rippling grooves. The companion piece 'Before the Storm' finds Sean and Dee exploring the astral techno sensibilities they've become so loved for. It's tough, rolling groove is perfectly carved, adorned with wonky motifs and cosmic artefacts. Once again, a dark first act preludes an emotive break where kaleidoscopic keys take centerstage, before tension filled tones usher in a foreboding finale.

The lone interpretation of 'Phoenix' is provided by label artist Starkato who returns for his seventh appearance. 2019 proved to be a memorable year for the German artist, showcasing his music on Asymmetric Recordings, Balkan Connection, Beatfreak Recordings and ICONYC. Having collaborated with Movement boss Tash in September of last year, Starkato now returns with a stunning rendition of 'Phoenix'. Setting the piece in motion, a foundation of tight beats and percussive waves merge for a wall of momentous energy. Luminous tones complement the rippling foundation, while piercing stabs steal the air at timely moments. Smooth chord changes and subtle modulation continue to elevate emotion, before a well-crafted break seals it's brilliance.

Rounding out the release and providing the lone interpretation of 'Before the Storm' is Forniva who returns to the label for his second appearance. The Bosnian artist first appeared on the Greek imprint in November of 2018 with a remix of Emi Galvan's 'Dopamine', while a contribution to the label's Technical Progress, Vol. 8 collection landed in December of the same year. Also laying claim to releases on Asymmetric Recordings, MNL, One Of A Kind and Soundteller Records, Forniva now returns to Movement with an excellent remix of 'Before The Storm'. Backed by a warm, chugging groove, the Bosnian artist's finely tuned percussion and grandiose atmospheres appease the senses. Clustered drums and a wonky take on the lead theme add a flair for the dramatic, while emotive chord changes set up the main break perfectly. Ghostly and tense, it's a cavernous interlude, flowing through cinematic soundscapes, before a tasteful drop sparks an exhilarating finale. An inspired remix from Forniva which rounds out another must have release from Tash's Movement Recordings.

With the twenty-twenties making its way into our consciousness, Pursuit comes again with the newest Wild Cards. A glimmer at the horizon of this decade's newest stars.

Raphael Mader brings us a vocal delight which we don't see that much in techno. Dreamy and delicious.

Naji Arun is showing his craftsmanship in Valus combining solid grooves with deep melodic pursuits.

Paralel brings us shimmering rides and revolving sounds, absolutely flawless.

And on closing duties is Monophase, who brings us tribal ethnic vibes, combined with mesmerising leads. All tried and tested for your pleasure.

EP number sixteen, called ‘Abyss EP’, comes from the Greek trio Symmetric (@symmetricofficial) & Future of Matter (@futureofmatter). This obscure collection of tracks with a melodic touch, goes the most towards a techno EP from the label so far. Especially because the three originals got strengthened by two great remixes of bastinov (@bastinov) and VNTM (@vntmofficial).

The EP starts off with the title track ‘Abyss’. This is the most obscure track of the EP. It got a raw and heavy lower part on which some frightening, atmospheric and almost randomly sounding, synths are build. The further in the track, the less random these synths get and when everything comes together it is one perfect fit.

The second track, called ‘River In The Sky’, is a brighter one. In this piece of music the melodic side of the EP gets more clear through its hopeful lead melody, but still the track is guided by the characteristic techno influenced lower groove elements. 

Where the originals are raw and stripped down, VNTM’s remix of ‘River In The Sky’ is round and full. It’s the most melodic track of the EP and attracts the attention with its spacey and fluctuating ambiance. All this together results in a composition in which you can totally lose your thoughts.

‘Anderida’ is the fourth track of the EP and is also driven by this characteristic lower part. Some small additions such as a hat are making this track pretty groovy, but the real ear-catcher is its intriguing main lead, which you won’t hear every day. 

In his remix of ‘Anderida’ bastinov added some power to the lower end, by using his heavy kick-bass combination. He took the main synth of the original and brought it company through some interesting and massive synth melodies. All together forming a strong end to a strong EP.
