Inspired by the sounds of Afrobeats, Hip-Hop and Neo-Soul, Lorkestra reimagines the forgotten summers through an aural experience that transports you to the beaches of St Tropez dancing in the sand or driving along the coast.

The track starts off with dreamy chords that build into a groovy percussion combination coupled with hard hitting drums that come together with familiar instrumentation of sounds from the African diaspora that will get you summer ready.

About Lorkestra :

Having started out as a Hip-Hop dancer, this led Lorkestra to gain an interest in beat-making and DJ-ing while he was in Paris. As he garnered attention as a DJ, he became the official DJ for rapper Gracy Hopkins and has played alongside names such as Branko, Goldlink, Sango & more. After a string of releases featuring remixes and some original music, Lorkestra is now focusing on his upcoming music project and regularly shares his love of music through his radio shows on Rinse FM & Source Radio.
