‘Parachutes’ immediately sets the senses adrift, enticing us in with multiple layers of dreamlike melodic haze, sparse broken drums and deep dubwise lows made for full body hypnosis, while the wicked bass bin rumbler ‘103 Alarm’ deals in mysterious swirling rhythms, with alien-like synth stabs and immersive drones turning up the suspense before a wash of melancholy and a whispering voice calls from beyond.

The choppy groove of ‘Juts’ makes for a deep jungle inspired house melter, the soundtrack to a surprise encounter with a friendly being from a distant planet. The final offering ups the stakes with the tech savvy ‘Play-Doh’ whipping us into an acidic frenzy full of heavy bass wobble and moments of sublime dancefloor euphoria.”

LONELY006 is a split EP with Eversines on the A side. A huge talent from Amsterdam with previous releases on Kalahari Oyster Cult and Nous'klaer. The B side is produced by Caim. It’s an exploration into the deepest realms of organic techno and stripped down house. But most notably, Caim is the love child of a musical bromance that started in 2016 – when Tommy Kornuijt and Mark Antoni first discovered their shared obsession for analogue gear and immersive grooves – and is now reaching maturity.Before joining forces, both Tommy and Mark had their fair share of musical successes. Tommy as co-founder and resident of Amsterdam’s (in)famous Breakfast Club parties, touring all across Europe with his distinctive take on minimalistic house and techno. And Mark as head honcho of the Amsterdam-based Mood parties and his vinyl imprint Lonely Planets Records. After their initial musical infatuation, they quickly decided to move into a new studio together, where the Caim adventure started. Three years down the line, their musical output is coming up to full speed. With the first release Flâneur on their Caim imprint perfectly setting the tone for their signature sound last year – an alloy of infectious drum patterns and mesmerizing synth moods – they are upping the ante with their sophomore release Rehab in April, and have Caim Records 003 in the pipeline for later this year. Recently, Mark and Tommy have started doing more and more of their notoriously deep and long (after hour) DJ sets. This has landed them residencies at both Breakfast Club and The Tribe. With gigs confirmed in places like Nijmegen’s Drift Festival, Berlin’s About Blank and even as far away as Tel Aviv, Caim is coming for you in 2019 – can’t say we didn’t warn you.

Nathan Micay is pleased to present the fifth re-issue on Eternal Schvitz: Love Boat People - 3 Some. Originally released in 1998 during the infamous Gulliani NYC nightlife crackdowns, this is the first record ever made by Bryan Keller of duo Automagic. A unique and timeless record that was Bryan's battle cry to what was happening at the time. A-sides '3Some' and 'To the Other Woorld' are as psychedelic and groovy as they come, making great use of a 70's era Crumar Spirit Synth and some truly wild vocals. B-sides "Dontcha Know? (Sunday Morning Mix/Sunday Night Mix) are equally banging with 'The Sunday Night Mix' conceived for Emjay's Sunday Night Very Gay Who's-Who Roundup Party at Crowbar, while the 'Saturday Night Mix' was made for Big Room, where it could be heard regularly in the sets of Danny Tenaglia, Junior and other DJ's around the city.
As always, Schvitz gives back. Eternal Schvitz release will be providing 60% of the cut to the artists and ensuring their credits are front and centre. The remaining 40% of profits will go to aequa, a Berlin-based collective with a focus on empowerment of women, trans and non- binary folks through gatherings for interpersonal exchange. Bolam is back on Space Dust with the 'Lost In Time' EP, a continuation of the journey started with the widely acclaimed 'Suspended Animation'. Another well-rounded and diverse record dives into the wormhole with ’Moving Lights’, a high-energy affair propelled by filtering resonators and a haunting vocal. ’Ozone’ breaks through the stratosphere of a new world, a huge track with electro-inspired groove, booming kicks and a razor-sharp lead melody, creating a feeling of uncertainty and delirium with  swelling pads and arpeggiators. 

The B-side begins with the mysterious and epic, genre-defying anthem ’Air Tension’, enticing the listener into the strange new world with a chugging rhythm, tantalising textures and an indescribable melody that keeps you on the line between paranoia and euphoria. ’Bioluminescence’ descends into an alien jungle, with a hypnotic, dreamy, downtempo beat and iridescent synths and chords. Finally, as you lay down in the otherworldly glade, the record wraps up with the ethereal, ambient finisher, ‘2 Parsecs From Home’.

Innate media back with another banger.

In the quaint town of Gilbert, the fascination for low-flying objects was innate. Every weekend, children gathered at the meadow, eyes fixed on the sky. One summer, a peculiar contest stirred excitement. The challenge: design and launch a homemade aircraft. Determined, they crafted paper planes, intricate kites, and even tiny parachutes. As the sun set, their creations took flight. Laughter and cheers echoed, mingling with the rustling leaves. These moments of pure joy highlighted the innate creativity within them. Gilbert became a symbol, where soaring dreams and friendship intertwined, all propelled by the magic of those low-flying wonders.
