Pump Pump Infinite Scale Rework (2009)

A time when sounds were coming together, and the EMU 4000 sampler was purchased.  This piece was created with a Novation Supernova, EMU 4000si (turbo), Zoom FX 2000 and sequenced via Logic 4.8 on a mac g3.  Written in 2000 whilst living and working in Hamburg, Deutschland.

This piece was created for a live performance at the Slaughtered Lamb in East London back in 2008.  I was supporting Digitonal on their album release.

11.Uhozhu by Theodor Bastard (Infinite Scale rmx)

First in the 'Sculptured Series'. This piece was created purely with a EPS 16+, Alesis SR-16 drum machine, Technox sound module, and the Spirt Folio 20 mixing desk. All of which I still own!
Creation date 1995-96 approx. Taken of a Maxell Chrome Cassette 20, using a Sharp GF -9494 ghettoblaster.

Polintek (1995-96)

Second in the 'Sculptured Series'. This piece was created using an EnsoniqEPS 16+ sampler, using a PC 386 and Cubase V2 for sequencing.  The PC has long since left!

Coincidence (1995)

3rd in the Sculptured Series.  This track was composed using the Alesis SR-16 - Ensoniq EPS 16+.  It was recorded in one take.  I no longer have the samples or patterns to this piece, which is a shame, as I would probably have reworked it today.  It was conceived after Good Looking Records had some interest in my works, but unfortunately nothing else came about from it. Recorded sometime between 1997-1999. Enjoy.

The fear of light (1997-99)

4th in the Sculptured Series.  Taken from the EP - Ecoshock, a 4 track EP.  It was meant to be the first Infinite Scale release!  Promoting your music in 1997 was a little more challenging than it is today; as a result this 4 track EP faded slowly, but still always remains a personal favourite.  History Byte……When thinking of a name for the label, I went back to Ecoshock, it holds so many memories and meanings for me. Enjoy, I.S

Part of the Sculptured Series. The track contains me strumming an acoustic guitar recorded into the Ensoniq's volcanic 2MB memory at 22khz!  All beat programming done on the Alesis SR-16 drum machine, and extra effects processed courtesy of the Alesis Midiverb.  Thank you for listening. I.S

Behind the bike shed (1996-97)

Created in 1996.  After upgrading from a Casio keyboard along came the Roland D20, Ensoniq EPS 16 + and the Alesis SR16.  This track owes its creation to those wonderful pieces of equipment.  Solid and at times mental.  Shame I sold the D20, but the other two rascals are still in production today.
