Gentrification gets a big one even though it’s benefited/perpetrated by everyone on the podcast. Knowledgeable NYC-head Charlie breaks down the first De Blasio regime as we look forward to another. Finally, Charlie challenges society to live up to its professed Christian mores while Brian rails against HGTV.

We’re joined by comedy writer Julia Reiss (@thereisspiece) for a conversation on the possibilities and pitfalls of the #MeToo movement. Julia talks about why she prefers New York to LA (2m), her life as a comedy writer (5m), and we entertain the thought that Brian might own Computer.com. Julia also takes us through getting blocked by “President” Trump (7:30) and argues that our culture’s sexual repression leads to miscommunications like the one that befell poor Grace and Aziz (32:50).
