New Zealand-based musician and producer Michael Hodgson is back as soundcloud.com/misledconvoy with the third installment in his Translations series, a kaleidoscope of remixes that defy easy categorisation. Hodgson's deft touch has transformed tracks by left coast legend soundcloud.com/Bluetech, dubmeister soundcloud.com/SUBSETdubs, soundcloud.com/disasteradio's side-hustle Eyeliner, David Asher’s new Dabtronic project, musical renegades 3Head, soundcloud.com/echochambersound’s LQ, Budapest-based soundcloud.com/OhmikRon81 and the enigmatic Xqui.

Hodgson, also known for his work as one half of soundcloud.com/pitchblacknz, brings his prolific and diverse production styles to this latest release, taking each track and infusing it with his unique sonic palette to produce an entirely new listening experience, twisting the familiar into something strange and wonderful. The album showcases a range of genres, from breakbeats to bass music, dub techno to industrial ambience, all seamlessly interwoven with an array of dub effects, delay and reverb.

Translations III’s veritable treasure trove of sonic experimentation is sure to delight fans of the weird and wonderful, the deep and the dubby.
