Inspired by the sounds of the ‘90s, @gaston-volpe's versatile sets blend genres such as Dub, Detroit and Hypnotic Techno, which combined with his fast tempo and continuous groove, create a perfect atmosphere on the dance floor.

He has been at the forefront of the underground electronic scene in Buenos Aires, being a resident in several parties for many years, which have lead to him being showcased at the best Techno clubs of the country.

He’s managed to edit several of his productions on labels such as @uncageofficial, @subsist and @sungate-records. Due to his continuous efforts, he has been supported by artists such as Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Jeroen Search, DJ Bone, Kaiser, Vil, Alexander Kowalski, Subradeon, Tripeo and many others. 

He is now focused on his new vinyl releases on labels like @frenzynl, OHM and Mitsubasa, all whilst still doing podcasts for great channels.

The early 2010s were an extended annus mirabillis for heavy-hitter Sébastien Michel, whose release of megahit ‘Mixtion’ was just the start of a trajectory that followed the shedding of his former skin as half of Daxyl and saw him pursue a more streamlined and emphatic vision of the techno future under his UVB pseudonym. Back in a time when he was hell-bent and producing up to three tracks a day, his early excursions into clubland were distinguished by sets forged exclusively from his own work; that gamut is a little broader nowadays but clearly no less exciting and personal. For the latest instalment of Bassiani Podcast series, he packs those years of toil into a succinct and aggressive strike, hedonic yet disciplined, the type of masterful studio mix you’d expect from the Body Theory label boss.

Today's episode is provided by ZORA, Madu Bittencourt aka ZORA is a Brazilian born and raised DJ based in Atibaia, São Paulo.

The young DJ began to be interested in music at a very early age due to the influence of her family, which used to listen to classic rock. Later on, she got into industrial sounds, and from there on, her research focused more and more on the universe of Techno. Today, Madu expresses herself through the ZORA project, where she approaches styles such as RAW Techno / Rolling Fast Paced and also transits through Hypnotic and Dub Techno being her great influences DJs DVS1 and Freddy K, and producing names like Alarico and Ignez.

ZORA is part of the Refuge collective and has also participated in podcasts such as Seroto9, Morph, Signal, Groovy Community, and Technera.

new way to express herself behind the turntables, allowing her to reveal the other side of her personality.

Coming from a classical music and dance background, she also developed a sense of rhythm and percussion that shapes her musical aesthetic. She takes pleasure to build incisive sets intended to transport us, playing fast-paced mental Techno, between percussive grooves and dark atmospheres, building percussive sets intended to transport us.

She has shared the booth with renowned artists like Setaoc Mass, Marcel Dettmann or Adriana Lopez.

Reclaim Your City 358 | Blenk (Montpellier) 

Closely involved with a two year residency for local promoters Magie Noire and Raum, Valentin is soon noticed outside of his hometown Montpellier for his dedication and distinctive production style.

With a continuous passion and enthusiasm for modular synthesizers and classical drum machines, he started the "Blenk" project in early 2018. Combining old school production and DJ tools with a modern approach, he spends a lot of time on sound design in search of the future foundation for his often atmospheric yet energetic techno tracks.

His first EP appeared in March 2019 on Dustin Zahn's excellent Enemy Records label, with support from the likes of DVS1, Joel Mull, Rene Wise and many others. His second 4-Track EP on Enemy "Fragments Of Vision" will be released on December 6th and can already count on the support of heavily influencing producers such as Luke Slater, Truncate and RØDHÅD to name just a few.
