I altered the lyrics to fit the rhythm. 
I removed a couple of lines from the last verse because they seemed a too meaningless way for me to end the song.
I removed the lines "You said you were going to 'Frisco, stay a couple of months. I always liked San Francisco, I was there for a party once."
I replaced them with "I'd talk all night but my words would turn into a meaningless ring. Deep inside I know there's no help I can bring." which are taken, and altered, from the Dylan track "To Ramona".

Pretty sure this is written by Arcade Fire, though on a live youtube video it sounds as if he credits it to Joe Strummer.

This is a song the band used to perform live. They did eventually record a studio recording of it, but without any vocals. So I added my own vocals on to that track.

This was the first song I wrote 100% by myself. It's my fifth attempt at recording a home demo of it. It has no chorus structure. It all just keeps building on what is already there, which is relevant to the lyrics somehow. The lyrics determined the structure. No drastic changes found here. Some songs feel like they need to go somewhere else to be interesting, but this one feels like it needs not to go anywhere else.

I took influence from the fact that a lot of the most popular and well loved songs, are incredibly simple in melody and structure, but still manage to build intensity, and often the strength of the words are what makes it ultimately endearing. Hopefully people will be able to consider my lyrics as meaningful as I do, and relate to it.

Most of the tracks I have uploaded here are experiments using pre-existing material without permision. I can't claim to have copyright for doing it. I don't plan on selling them as my own and making money. I'm only interested in making and improving good music, and making the best music possible before I die. I'm interested in the results, and am trying to improve my ability to make my own songs.
