A key figure in the Infernal Sounds roster, Kodama returns for his third solo release with the 'Daimyo EP', a stunning showcase of his unmistakable 140 craftsmanship.

From the first notes, 'Daimyo' sets the tone - a masterful blend of depth, drive, and atmosphere. Swaggering percussion and haunting vocals lead into a razor-sharp drop that perfectly captures Kodama's balance between light and darkness.

'Keep Swimming' keeps the pace moving with rolling grooves and precision bass weight, building energy with every bar. Float then lifts the EP into higher dimensions, offering a euphoric, melodic journey through Kodama's more emotive side.

'Maybe In Another Life' slows things down with a heartfelt, cinematic touch, while the VIP injects a new sense of movement and swing.

Finally, the aptly titled 'Closure' rounds out the EP in style. An uplifting two-step journey that leaves you floating in its wake.

With Daimyo, Kodama once again cements his place as one of the most distinctive voices in dubstep today. He's a producer whose sound design, emotion, and flow continue to set the standard across the 140 spectrum.

Fresh Produce 201 - Antsane in the Membrane (1/3)

Korode's sound is built on syncopated, groove-driven rhythms and prominent bass work. Drawing influence from a wide range of underground music and cinema, his tracks strike a balance between unpredictable sound design and evolving instrument progressions. His production ranges from dark and gritty to melodic and uplifting, but his core goal is always focused on moving the dancefloor.

The upcoming Rise EP was directly inspired by his trip to Budapest, where he performed at the Macrocell 140 Budapest Vol 2 launch party. Following such a memorable event, it was only fitting to dedicate an EP to the experience and release it with the label.

Sample Junkie has become a force on the label since his debut track 'Ocelot' as part of our '3000 Likes EP' last March, and has gone from strength to strength with releases such as 'No. 6', 'Yes' and his infamous remix of Thorpey's 'Powah'. It seemed high time to give this trouble starter his own release, and it arrives just in time for it to go off in festival season!

He's gone fully in as well with his three original tracks (one a collaboration with Hurtdeer) that all bring something from a different cultural background to his banging mutant bass sound - 'Aku' with it's reference to Japan, 'Yes Jah' in it's reference to Jamaica and 'Snake Charmer' with it's reference to India. Remixes here are plentiful and wonderfully varied. Hadean turns lead track 'Aku' into an absolute hard bassline stormer, Dave Skywalker does what he does best and turns 'Yes Jah' into a hardcore anthem and Reso brings us a Neurofunk beast of 'Aku' to close out this formidable EP.
