Someone very close to me turned me on to Arutani's The Mermaid Girl 3 years ago, which took me down a dark spiral of some of the most rich and beautiful music I've heard in my life. This is a chance to share some of the tracks that have moved me so much.

Moin Kinners - echt `nen büschen windig hier zur Zeit, nech. Da segelst du los und erfreust dich der klaren Aussichten, dem sonnigen Horizont und schon ziehen dunkle Wolken auf und Poseidon peitscht seine Wellen hoch. Vielleicht liegt das am Sound der jungen wilden Abenteurer an Bord oder irgendwer hat vergessen seine Suppenschüssel zu leeren.

Der junge wilde Robin Dey hat uns in die Ferne schweifen lassen und nun hat sich zur großen Freude eures Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson endlich die quirlige http://www.soundcloud.com/caleesi_music hinter den Mixer begeben und nach einem Jahr Vorbereitung ihre Version eines Seasidetrip eingespielt.

Ach, was soll ich griesgrämiger - bärtiger - Ginliebender Käpt’n sagen: ich mag sie, ihre Art und ihren Sound von der ersten Sekunde an - da gibt es nicht viel drumherum zu schnacken. Sie gehört zum uns freundschaftlich verbundenen www.soundcloud.com/urbancosmonautradio - Kollektiv und nachdem wir beide letztens bei der Rebellion der Träumer das DJ-Pult teilten, nun spätestens da war die Spannung und Freude auf ihren Mix nicht mehr auszuhalten. So hat sie sich bei dem aufziehenden stürmischen Wetter 3 Tage in ihrer Kajüte verschanzt und ist in die endlosen Spähren voll von Musik getaucht. Sie navigierte sich meditativ durch meterhohe Wellen, fiel dabei fast von Bord und doch ging sie uns währenddessen nicht verloren und manövriert uns jetzt, mit ihrem »Stormborn« Mix, gekonnt durch die wetterlichen Launen Poseidons. 

Caleesi wollte »einen Mix machen, der den Hörer auf eine Reise auf hoher See mitnimmt: es wird stürmisch und bewegt sein, ruhig und plätschernd, windig und flächig, tiefgründig schwer und rhythmisch entspannt.« Euer Käpt’n sagt: Aye, der Mix ist ihr mehr als gelungen und somit bereichert ein weiteres Soundjuwel unsere Reise. Denn »Manchmal muss man sich festhalten, um nicht über Bord zu fallen, aber immer weiß man eigentlich, dass es weiter geht - und dass man das Ziel am anderen Ende des Horizonts irgendwann - nach vielen Höhen und Tiefen - erreichen wird.« Sie gibt die Richtung vor, ich entspanne in der Hängematte und ihr lasst euch jetzt von »Stormborn« treiben, aye.

Kellersinfonie °33 - LESCHUEFT & MAREIA (a.k.a ᗰᗩᖇIEᑌ)

I’m producing and composing music for 22 years now. (Minimal, Minimal-Electro, Minimal-House , Dub, Triphop, HipHop, Orchestrals)

Under my artistname DiskoSchmitt I started presenting my strictly minimized, electronic music. Inbetween its more about deep-groovin, melodic Trackz. 

My Dj-career began before approx. 14 years with some Afterhours at the “Kult Bar” in Ulm.

Then it was possible to start a more extensive Afterhour, in the larger seized Club Ego (ulm), by always engaged support of the “Freunde der Nacht”. After hardly 2 months there were visitors up to 400 people. Unfortunately sfter 2 years the club had to be closed, after the discharging of the lease and so the biggest Afterhour in a hundred kilometers around found it’s end.

Since then, DiskoSchmitt’s Sets could be heared at/in many great Events & Clubs (Palais-München, BadeSchiff-Berlin, Rummelsbucht-Berlin, Beate Uwe, Karneval der Kulturen - Berlin, Club Ohm&SuCasa-Ulm,..) in Germany.

I m lookin back on many pre/post-programs for Format B,  Magda, Audiofly, SuperFlu, Caesar Marveille, Johnny D., Ray Okpara, Alexi Delano,  Marco Resmann, Andre Crom, Oliver Neufang, Alexander Kowalski and many more.
