Labasheeda are an art-rock band with members from Amsterdam and Haarlem, the Netherlands.
The band's current lineup features vocalist & violinists/guitarist Saskia van der Giessen, guitarist Arne Wolfswinkel, bassist Renato Cannavacciuolo, and drummer Jan Tromp.

Tying together a decade of adventurous, sound-evolving albums and changing lineups, are penchants for concise, stripped down melodies, and quick switches from spacious bass lines and drums into heavy, chaotic, and sometimes anthemic guitar driven songs, drawing comparisons to genre-pushing bands such as Sonic Youth and Sebadoh.

Their ninth album, Status Seeking, is released on Presto Chango Records on September 4th, 2020. A vinyl pressing of the album will be available to early-birds as a silk-screened, individually numbered release.
