Built around a free-flowing breakbeat storyboard, Pedro works tonal motifs and warm swells with haunting atmospherics and granular textures. Haunting and timeless in equal measure, it makes for an enchanting eight-minute journey, which not only sits as one of the Brazilian’s most introspective works to date but sets the tone for the label going forward.

Pedro Capelossi - Supernova [REFRACTION RECORDS]

Making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Nameless Faceless’ is Federsen.

Since emerging in 2011, San Francisco based sound architect Federsen has developed a distinct brand of deep dubby techno. Renowned for his hazy textures and minimal yet club-effective approach, the American based artist has compiled an impressive resume across a near fifteen-year stretch.

Greyscale, Seven Villas, spclnch and his own Alt Dub vinyl imprint have been regular landing spots for his thought-provoking productions, as he continues to maneuver himself through the confines of modern techno music. With 2024 getting underway with a contribution to Lempuyang’s ‘Pura Lempuyang Dua’ collection, Federsen now makes his Refraction debut with a live take on ‘Nameless Faceless’. Always a creative remixer, the artist's freeform movement discreetly glides up into celestial realms, burrowing deeper into your amygdala, before carefully pulling back to create a panoramic rollercoaster of submerged beats, minimal electronics and subtle undertones.

The echo of the album ZNAKI. What remained unspoken — now resounds. What once whispered — now reverberates. ZNAKI. POSTSCRIPTUM is a reflection in another dimension. The second sonic manuscript by the duo Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) and vocalist Ellinda opens the door to a multiverse of reinterpretation, remix, and reimagined states.

Each of the nine tracks is a new decoding of the original signs.

::: Deepdrome (@deepdrome) delivers a Prozac Edition of “Melancholy” — not a cure for sadness, but a journey inside its structure, where silence and pulse move as one.
::: Taiga Dub Action (@shadow-recruit) Version lets “ZNAKI” speak as if the Siberian winter found its dub voice.
::: Substak (@substak) remaps “El Nath” as a celestial phenomenon — the Pulsar Dub Remix trembles with the precision of a telescope.
::: Radio Badjay (@radiobadjay) envisions “Melancholy” as a cinematic dreamscene — the Vision mix is filmed in slow, glowing reverie.
::: Aritomi (@aritomi) reshapes the track through airy stillness — where Japanese meditativeness meets Siberian frost.
::: dESUS (@dj-desus) unfurls “ZNAKI” as a coded message folded into echo ribbons.
::: Amaral Borges (@amaral-borges), through his São Paulo Redub, breathes warmth and fluidity into the track — tropical pulse meeting dub serenity.
::: Sleney (@sleney1996) refracts the track into spectral fragments — each sound a ray through crystalline emotion.
::: ODP (@enercube & @x_fr), our own hypnotic/acid techno side-project, transforms “Metatron’s Dreams” into a ritual of frequencies — the 303 Reconstruct vibrates like sonic alchemy from a parallel lab. An acidic, hypnotic plunge into another dimension.

And here’s a special constellation: April 22 — the birthday of Oleg ENERCUBE, one half of Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer. This release becomes not only a continuation, but a celebration — personal, cosmic, sonic.

ZNAKI. POSTSCRIPTUM is what comes after the story’s been told — yet all that’s most personal still lingers. When the signs are reinterpreted through other eyes. When sound invites you to feel again. To hear again. Because love for sound never ends with a full stop.
