Plugin is a creative music making project run by Quench Arts for young mental health inpatients in Birmingham, part of a wider programme called In Sync. It is funded by Youth Music and Services for Education. All music has been created by the young people, supported by our team of music facilitators (Lead Music Leaders - Vix Perks and Chris Tye; Young Music Leaders – Toby Marriott and Ross Walter).

Yuuf's new EP "Alma's Cove" is out now, released under the Ninja Tune imprint Technicolour.

Yuuf naturally blend their diverse musical tastes from around the world to shape the sound of their dreamlike, sun-streaked, rich and organic music.

The band’s early moments showed them on renowned stages in London such as The Lexington which was one of various sold-out DIY shows in their hometown. A stunning YouTube live session of their debut EP In The Sun presents them in a mystical forest and currently counts an impressive 2M organic views.

Yuuf‘s music has seen a consistent support of global radio stations and platforms such as KEXP, KCRW, BBC Radio 6, Somewhere Soul, Facemelts and national radios in their home territories.

These beginning stages stay engrained within their ethos as a band, as musicians and as a group of friends, making sure at the forefront of their music there is honesty, dedication, care and a passion for their craft and art. 

Their EP ‘Alma’s Cove’ has already proven to be resonating with an even wider and more devoted audience. Yuuf continue delivering captivating and entertaining music for audiences from all over the world. They have recently released their latest single ‘Calima’ and will be releasing their newest EP ‘Mt. Sava’ on Ninja Tune/Technicolour October 29th. 

Yuuf is Anthony Boatright on bass, Hugo Cottu on guitar, Andrin Haag on handpan and percussion and Oliver Overgaard on drums. The four band members all originate from different countries (England, France, Switzerland, Denmark).
