After welcoming Chug to Inform Records with his release on the Summer Selections EP a few months ago, we are thrilled to have him back – this time with two soulful singles. 

The British-born Chinese producer has been working on his craft since 1998 and the effort is clearly visible from his high-quality production. This particular release consists of two singles, both following his signature soulful cuts with a subtle hint of jazz.

Polish artist Satl is one of the most diverse and prolific artists to break through in the Drum & Bass realm in the last decade. After a multitude of music on Amsterdam label The North Quarter he is now set to release his most ambitious and eclectic project: Gloom.

Code Red has gained strong support from Dj’s right across the scene, and received instantly positive reactions from club plays this autumn. Break nails a big wall of sound on this record with layers of sub bass and crisp beats glued with Fox’s authentic and bassy timbre. Break went the extra mile creating the drum breaks from scratch on this track, recording various drums and tambourines for a familiar but unique DnB sound.
An exclusive Dub version of the track is available peppered with vocal hooks, dubbed out echo and reverb hits for those wanting a more minimal and spacey style.

‘Observer’ was one of the most indulgent tracks on the original album - one of the ones that I love the most, almost because I knew it wouldn’t be a fan-favourite. Indi has taken the DNA of the original, taken a few BPM off the tempo, and made a groovy, raw, and chord-laden version that I’ve loved from the very first demo. She has turned in such a masterful job. The groove, the pads, the sub - she has smashed it.
