Made this when messing around with the Korg M01D
I purposely crunched it down to 16khz for a more retro sound (The M01D samples are really clean and clear in comparison)

Space Jackknife

The big city. The place where all the latest and greatest technology comes together, where the buildings pierce the clouds, where the freeways are filled with twist and loops, and nearly every building has a neon sign. This is the Transit Twist. Strangely enough though Robotnik's forces are here, they seem to have done very little to no damage to the landscape. Instead they're building some grotesque golden statue of him. That's a crime in more ways than one, hurry and stop him!

SAMPLIGHT CMI IIX VST is still in alpha test version but it can already LOAD and play original FAIRLIGHT CMI IIX Voice files (.VC & .CO files) with the appropriate settings ( Loop points, Filter, Attack, Decay etc...) Sample and create evolving Waveforms...Variable Sample Rate etc...
This Demo is all SAMPLIGHT VST using stock Original CMI IIx  Voice Disks excepted main Drums are VLINN VST (Linn LM-1)and some real electric guitar soloing (the guitar effect use my ELASTIC VST FX)

So here we are VLINN version 2 (crossplatform and new features) is finally ready and will be launched in few days! So I have taken my funk back on and recorded this+ 6min Minneapolis type funk with the sound of the Purple Rain Era in mind :) and I have a very special guest for that, the legendary Doctor (Matthew) Fink (Prince keyboard player from early years to around 90!) who dropped a smoking Oberheim keyboard solo in the middle on the jam like he used too :D

Before someone ask again, this is basically me on everything you hear excepted Mr Fink keyboard solo performance.

Retrobits with love

a little 90s house/video game inspired piece made using Roland Hyper Canvas; a VSTi which replicates the sound of Roland's old SC-88 midi synth. this same synth was used in several Super Smash Bros. Melee tracks, so some sounds might seem familiar.
