Mariculture - live performance at Whitstable Biennale

I took the front panel off an upright piano and recorded myself singing clear pitches into specific strings, with the suspended pedal held down. I edited out my voice, so all you can hear is breath and harmonics. The title is a Meister Eckhart quote.

Do You Hear The Hidden Word

Part of the soundtrack to my degree show, these samples were created when I filmed several panes of glass breaking by throwing a marble at them really hard. I slowed down the footage of the glass breaking, and played with the audio recordings.

The title was inspired by my good friend who helped me film the breaking glass, whilst telling me about the various love triangles in the house she was living in.
