S - Capade got into the sound of hardcore jungle in the early nineties. Based on his background as a drummer he supported many DJ sets and then soon after became a DJ himself. Starting out his new found vocation he played a number of pirate Radio stations in Europe and swiftly moved onto the underground club scene. Adding to the DnB industry further he started promoting events and soon after became part owner and resident DJ at the legendary Massive Tunes and Oxygen events in Aachen, Germany.

SR & Digbee return to Ghetto Dub after a few years away with their long-awaited Alternate Realities EP. Following their appearance on the Ghetto Dubz Vol 2 album back in 2019 with the track 'Dancehall,' this marks their first release as a duo since then.

The Alternate Realities EP is a journey through diverse yet cohesive Jungle vibes. Each track brings something different to the table, yet they all share a common energy that makes them flow perfectly as a whole. The opener, 'Runnin',' is a high-energy roller, featuring wicked Amen chops and ragga vocals that demand attention. 'Bristol Bass' takes listeners back to the gritty, bass-heavy sound of early Bristol drum & bass, evoking the spirit of the scene's pioneering days. On the flip side, 'Take Me' is a laid-back yet vibey offering with melodic layers, while 'Violet Eyes' takes a more chill, atmospheric approach, perfect for those late-night sessions.

This release brings SR & Digbee back to the sound they're known for, drawing on influences from their past work like the iconic 'Nostromo.' Fans will recognize the return of that raw energy, but with a new level of maturity and refinement in their sound.

Spring, my friends, is out there springing harder than one of King Tubby's legendary custom spring reverb units, the soil beneath your feet would give you trees tomorrow if you only stuck a twig in it, the skies are bluer than the girl in the Vermeer painting, and obviously this must mean there's a new InHabit release about to hatch. You know the (seed-) drill by now I'm sure of it. Once again we're pleased to announce a debut release from a promising producer, this time from the glorious hills of Donegal, who we believe is going to make you dance and think and feel things hitherto unfelt, and move you in ways you've yet to be moved. Three tracks on offer here, and all of them move with a ridiculously self-assured swagger that's simultaneously reminiscent of the old Hard Leaders jams your least reputable uncle used to batter back in the latter days of the 90s and also of the kind of thing you might hear in the sets of the most discerning heads riding that post-Jungle revival horse right into the gaping maws of rugged, distorted millenarian fin-de-siecle techstep. The last time the Culture paused at a crossroads like this one no less of an authority than Simon Reynolds observed that this music was less about pleasure and joy than it was about martial art - these tunes were built for floors where people honed their bodies in preparation for the looming end of the world, the civilisational collapse, Raving as callisthenics in preparation for an imminent apocalypse. I will leave you with that thought.
