After a chaotic year the world seems to slowly open up again. To celebrate the occasion, Ocean Drive Radio welcomes you to Bay City. This metropole is situated on a fabled tropical archipelago, which to this day has remained undiscovered. Rumored to be somewhere in the Pacific, from the few visitors who made it there we know that it’s an isolated place, completely unaffected by the hectic, outside world. A place where time seems to move more slowly, as is reflected by the music broadcasted by the island’s most popular radio station: house, vaporwave, disco, fusion, yacht rock, lounge and smooth jazz - all are genres that are frequently heard on ODR.
This 12-track VA also reflects that mellow, yet cheerful Bay City spirit: It’s a compilation of exotic, punchy and melancholic tunes, at all times best enjoyed at the pool or beach.

PREMIERE: Raoul - Vae Victis [Inhale Exhale]

Toy Tonics head honcho Kapote jammed with New York born soul singer Kosmo Kint... and these are the three songs they finalized.

Electric Soul? Futuristic disco? New Wave Funk? The songs have different vibes. Difficult to pin them down to a style. Ranging from soulful downtempo to more uptempo almost 1980ies moody dance club atmospheres. Kosmo Kint, the New York born, Berlin living vocalist has already been featured on song's of other Toy Tonics artists. Now on this EP he wrote most of the melodies while the music is full on Kapote. Superfunky basslines, warm, jazz based chord progressions, syncopated drum patterns and a quite organic feel.

It's one of the rare Kapote releases since the album "What It Is" from 2018. Kosmo Kint and Kapote, both will release solo albums in 2021. So this EP is a little teaser..

After the summer break we're back with a new fresh EP by a young and super talented artists from Pisa: welcome Niccolò Turini!
He's a dynamic and eclectic producer, with a very good taste for classy grooves.
The opening track 'Cherry Dub' is a deep weapon with dreamy pads and a very essential arrangement, groovy and trippy at the same time.
Second track 'Anche da Pisa suona Detroit' is a dancefloor killer with crunchy drums, smooth stabs and a greasy bassline, ideal for a peaktime situation.
Third and last track 'Get down and move your body' has a strong vocal sample combined with classic lately bass, fat percussions and Housy chords.
