Edited and adjusted by some Berlin based Belgian (A2 and B1 with the help of a Swede) for maximum disco dancing delight. “Fuifnummers” is Dutch for “party starters” and that’s exactly what you get. “In the mist of the night, a driver locks his rimmed glasses to his face, fasten his seatbelt and stomps his foot on the gas. An array of beams and city lights flow in a continuous spectrum that dissolves into lines as the car speeds up. It’s only a matter of time before his journey turns into a tunnel of light. Off he goes into the distance to test the space time continuum limits of speed and sound with aboard of his car only courage and humility.”  

For his first EP, Romain FX digs deep in his emotions to pull out four Italo & House infused tracks full of musical surprises.  

The first one reflects the constant speed his home city (Hong Kong) has to offer, the track invokes a dreamy sense of infinite travels and speed. 
The A2 called Kě Ài meaning cuteness starts off as a smooth melodic vibe and get’s more intense in emotions as the track develops, filled with smooth Juno pads and round Korg M1 bass line. 

His third track Fray has bit more of a dark heavy end but still has this signature switch of vibes throughout the track with some more jazzy vibes and surprising little vocals throughout the track. 

And to close of his first EP, Romain FX finishes with a full 90’s dream house track full of flutes to end the ride on a joyful note.

Tee Mango joins the Delusions of Grandeur fold for his ﬁrst full EP release. He is someone who has always carved his own path with attention to detail and aesthetics seemingly as important as the music, Tom has been a good example of how to make the DIY approach work for yourself since his ﬁrst vinyl output back in 2012. Millionhands and Millionhands Black have seen the majority of his original material and edits but we’ve also seen him appearing on Royal Oak, Aus and Local Talk and future output planned for Permanent Vacation and his own new label SUPERUNKNOWN.

Opening track and our premiere today, Cityspell, goes for the jugular with a pulsing 16th-note bassline sitting centre stage while huge washes of deep pads layer up around it. Sirens and horn stabs join the scene adding increasing energy, making this one of those tracks that nails the balance between hypnotic deepness and hyped up intensity perfectly for the danceﬂoor. Flipping over we have Do U Luv Me? which kicks off with a simple one-note Moog bassline and syndrum white noise snares before some crazy, off-kilter cross-rhythm synth stabs join the party; cue heads running to the booth asking wtf?! Just the kind of wonky, outerspace sh*t that we’ve come to love and expect from masters such as Maurice Fulton or Recloose.

Finally Tee Mango closes off with another absolutely killer cut featuring live-sounding drums calling ‘Paperclip People’s Throw’ to mind with those rasping open hi hats and rolling two beat bassline. A tripped-out female vocal sample and extra acid-esque synth line add to the frenetic atmosphere but melodic arpeggiating chimes ensure things remain deep and musical. A really strong three tracker we’re sure you’ll agree. Give them a spin out and share the love in your charts and mixes!

She sipped from a tall drink as the wind blew softly in the midst of what was a warm summer afternoon. Out here in the countryside, the world was peaceful and innocent. The air was clean and pure, the people kind and good. This was the land of Baila, a sun kissed tropical paradise beneath blue skies. 

Pitto is set to release a new EP via Heist Recordings. A euphoric, driven, dance floor focussed EP with energy and promise. It's reminiscent of late nights and warm climates.
