In Human Resources is a collaborative music project featuring Eric Liebing and Daniel Natter.   Eric resides in Illinois and Daniel resides in Missouri.  Because they are separated by two states, they have developed unique methods of song writing.  In addition to live performing, part of their song writing process features recorded tracks being sent back and forth until a song develops.  Every instrument heard in their songs, with the exception of the Tabla, is performed and recorded by either Eric, or Daniel, as indicated in the song credits.    



-Bio-
Daniel and Eric grew up jamming together on the streets of Glen Ellyn Illinois, and have been close friends for over 30 years.   They discovered very early on that they shared a passion for music and spent thousands of hours jamming, performing live, and learning how to play together.  They bring unique taste, perspectives, talents and styles to the project, and combine that with an almost uncanny intuitive sense and feel when performing together.  They both play multiple instruments and as a duo, they are able to express ideas in a unique way.   Eric's unique style of drumming blends naturally with Daniel's bass playing, and forms a solid foundation of rhythm which allows them to explore melodic ideas with the variety of instruments each of them plays.

As a master level Steel Pan player who studied under Liam Teague and Cliff Alexis, Eric brings his unique playing style and love for the Steel Pan to the project.  Eric's vision is to share the beauty of the Steel Pan to the listener in new and unique musical contexts. This is one of the central themes both musicians strive to for in this project.  In addition to the Steel Pan, Eric is also an accomplished drummer, and started playing and performing at a very early age.  His unmistakable signature drumming features combinations of multi-cultural influences, incredible feel, and an intuitive sense of poly-rhythm and subtlety.  

Daniel is a proud father of 3, and is an IT professional in the healthcare industry. He is a self taught multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, sound engineer, and arranger. As a child, he suffered an accident that caused his right arm to become paralyzed from the shoulder down. Over time, his arm slowly healed until he was able to move his arm, but his hand has remained mostly paralyzed to this day. He has had to adapt his playing because of his injury, as an example, he plays the bass using only one finger to pick, and on piano only uses his left hand.
