Kamizi is the new face on Mix Le Fun records; the past year he released "Forplay" in colaboration with Iñigo Vontier with remixes from Ilya Santana, Earl Grey (C90s) and Dan Solo in Fruit Of Life Records and now we have the honor to present his first single "Guerra". "Guerra" is a dancefloor killer that has been the secret weapon of the Mix Le Fun crew for quite a long time and is now finally going to be released. "Guerra" is a strong electro banger with a powerful bassline and vocals that evoke revolution and war.
This pack comes with 4 amazing remixes. First we have Iñigo Vontier & Dan Solo together taking the track to an upbeat disco, filled with analog synths and an epic build up. Next is Future Feelings with his classic funky touch adding to it an exquisite melody that explodes in a solid bassline. Then we have the spanish electro sensation, Gameboyz that take the track to a more darker side making hypnotic beats with a heavy bassline. Finally we have a new member of the Mix Le Fun crew, BDTF which gives the release an eclectic vibe with a slowtempo dub version.

Force Majeure's debut release on the 'Sulk Magic' imprint comes stocked with mind-altering treats. 
The title track 'Overawed' mesmerises with it's low-slung undulating electronics, acid flashes and arpeggio rhythms. 'Cheap Thrills' then accelerates proceedings with unfussy drums and robotic, bleep heavy melodies. 
Label owner Bird of Paradise offers up a relentless lo-fi version of the latter whilst Melbourne based Jamie Blanco provides a hustling futuristic soundscape. Damon Jee closes matters with his interpretation of 'Overawed', contributing a stripped back, double-time chugger.

Autarkic makes-up part of an unspoken alliance from Tel-Aviv, which is currently altering the state of contemporary house and techno music. Heavy Dreamer, the artist’s first, four-track outing on Life and Death, showcases much of what this bold movement is about, all while pushing it forward into progress.  

Ever-present tones of kraut and punk rock flow throughout the EP, beginning with Some Things To Keep, a pumping, warehouse floor-filler. Autarkic steps up to the mic, often re-amping and distorting his vocal delivery, placing it alongside finely-programmed keyboard riffs, tough drums and further psychedelia. Realistic Guru, the trippiest of the lot, is tailor-made for an early-morning DJ Tennis after-party excursion. Slowing down the pace on Powerhouse, Autarkic hints at moments of Bauhaus’ and Tones on Tail’s doom-and-dance pop, while offering-up a digital-only, stripped-down, bonus version. The title track stands as a testament to this new wave of artists, coming from the shores of Israel’s Mediterranean coastline. Bass, drums and guitar are recorded through bespoke boxes and presented through the lens of modernist club-culture.

EXCLUSIVE Chloé 'Through the Bells'

Without a doubt Permanent Vacation's eponymous compilation, which is released every other year, not only marks the musical ending of every second calendar year but is a highlight to any music-enthusiast's record collection as well as a proper track- or dance floor potpourri of music for any DJ. With the fifth compilation Permanent Vacation remains true to its sound yet reinvents itself by giving emerging and established artists a platform to share their current musical approaches. Multi-talented Chloé certainly belongs to the latter named as the Parisian has contributed several musical pieces in various ways to the electronic music scene and a wider audience. As the label-founder of Lumiere Noire Records she recently compiled its anniversary compilation to now present her latest track 'Through the Bells' on Permanent Vacation 5. The track is built just around what the title suggests: bell-sounds. Starting off with a multi-layered bassline and shallow 80s influenced chords Chloé implements the track-carrying and looped bell-element after that unfolds a hypnotic effect through its monotony which the producer skillfully breaks open by partly replacing the effaced chords, giving them more space and strike up a symbiosis with the first occurring and newly placed bell-sounds. Therefore 'Through the Bells' is an ongoing dancefloor relationship that swaps sounds but not the love for its intention to surprise and fascinate the audience, the listeners of Chloé's music.

Permanent Vacation 5 will be released November 23rd.
