Hello! Hoping that you all are good. This is my rejected submission for FORM's All Nighter Vol. 10 event, which is the last event for about 2 years as they have said. I decided to try some new stuff and as a result of me doing so while making the song within 24 hours, I have created something that has both energy and attitude in one. Result? A song that's sassy as fuck. Fitting song name?

As opposed to what I usually prefer, this song is not really loaded in stuff like fills and is more focused on the "subjects" that are stuff like the melodies, vocals, bass patterns, etc. Basically, the essential things that make the song what it is. Hey everyone! Guess what? It's my birthday, and I'm turning 16! So, to celebrate, I've decided to drop this song (downloads enabled), which is quite special as it has a unique story of its own. As for the cover art, can't say the same since I speedran making it in like an hour or two. 

I made this song, which is the only one I finished out of the 3 that I began working on, for SILKENWOOD's "Mad Hatter Vol. 1" event. Each participant received a prompt that would serve as a challenge during their production of their song. My challenge was to do it with no EQ. 
My workaround was a filter and a frequency splitter, but I was told by another person that it was a type of EQ, which would disqualify me. Turns out, I wasn't out yet, as they sought the producer being in a new production process and flow, not necessarily an incredibly perfect 1:1 accurate following of the prompt. So, I finished the song after that and submitted it since I liked it so much, but I got rejected.

Regardless, with that challenge, I feel like I truly discovered how much I truly took for granted production tools that truly help me when I use them. To get to this song being made was not so easy. 2 scrapped mediocre IDs came before this one, but in the end, the song got complete, so here I am weeks later to drop it on my birthday. I had the plan to save it for Valentine's Day, but I got impatient. 

As I write this, it's 4AM, so the schoolday hasn't even begun. I haven't slept yet, so I will go do that and then try to have the best birthday ever! Take care everyone, stay safe, be kind, spread love and remember: never give up.
