Feeling Empty  Version 2

Found a nice choir patch and played around  a bit and came up with this.

Storm Inside

Just discovered the free spitfire bbc orchestra and messed with it. Came up with this seed of an idea. Was mastered by fls new beta feature.

Something Sort Of Epic

Something slowed down and chill. The bulk of it is Synplant 2 and some ambience and drums. The cello, piano and snappy snare loop is all synplant though.

Emotionless Motion

Revisiting a bass loop I like and tried to make something a bit more house like and less depressing. Not sure it worked out great.

Something About Bass

A weird ride through some trippy sounds. Piano driven melody with drums and heavy bass.

Blurry

Just a simple riff off of the four chords idea. Everything is just basic on this one. Wasn't feeling super inspired today but I'm trying to get at least one track a day up even if they are still not great.

I found the vocals I think from a demo project in fl studio and messed around and came up with this. Not my normal wheel house but i thought it sounded interesting at least. Hope you enjoy.

I will Remix?

This one is pretty much me just arranging, mixing lightly and adding some effects to some samples from the new FL cloud feature. Came out sort of fun.

Feelin' Loopy

Just sort of stumbled into this one. Saxophone always gets me.

Mind Wandered

This was a test run of using FL Studio stem separation on a movie and chopping up the various results. It is not very musical but was only a test of possibilities for future projects. Every sound you hear was ethically sourced from Army of Darkness(Directors Cut) which was freely available from archive.org. I only added some FX here and there and did the chops from the audio stems I created with FL's tool.

A sample Experiment

Just trying some more stuff out and seeing what sticks. I know the mix on this is rough but it was more of an idea bed than a song. I may or may not keep developing it into something cause it has some ideas that work.

Another work in progress that I'm stuck on currently. Has some potential but feels weak to me currently. Not sure what to add or change.

Limit Seeker

Was feeling like trying to make something jazzy. Mostly inspired by things like the cowboy bebop intro but I am not that good yet. So this is not that but my take on something sort of like that maybe someday? I guess?

Jazzy Spike

Started with a guitar I liked and then evolved into whatever the hell this monster is.  I ruined the best version of the drop i had and will have to work at this a bit more to really pull it off. Still sort of fun though.

On The Fly

A random experiment where I sped up and heavily FX the crap out of one of my other pieces. Not sure if it is any good but it sounds kind of cool.

Scanning Darkish

Teaching myself.

 I predominantly compose using FL Studio as well as utilizing live recordings of myself playing various instruments. I draw my sounds from a wide berth of influences, lots of blues classical, acoustic, rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, swing, techno, electroswing, dubstep, spoken pieces, movie scores. Any and all sound inspires me to make more, to explore what a single person can do when provided with the tools to create. Hopefully you enjoy what you hear and even if you don't please feel free to comment.
