Label head and chief pilot Boom Shankar presents the first BMSS release for 2022: the second half of the mind-altering conceptual double compilation project "Ailihphilia". 

Following the label's dark/light dichotomy, LEVEL II reflects the label's "Sun side", featuring a more daytime and morning-oriented selection of Psytrance and Full On, liberally doused with a brain-melting smattering of Goa and Acid elements. 

The two halves unite to form a jaw-dropping 4-hour collection: one project, one journey, one narrative - a mirror of our souls, and a reflection of the deep psychedelic realms of the human psyche.

From the deep to the uplifting, old school to new school, this monolithic trip spans every aspect of the psychedelic trance scene, and crucially gives the involved artists an opportunity to showcase the full spectrum of their sound by featuring several tracks within the project. 

In this sense, Ailihphilia is a true reflection, a mirror, of BMSS' unique modus operandi - an approach that unifies both established artists and legends with new talents and up-and-coming artists, an international crew of producers, DJs and other misfits who fly in the face traditional sub-genre boundaries, focusing instead on true creativity and a profound dancefloor experience. 

The compilation features as a result some of the label's recent signings (Luminous from Greece and Protonix from India), some resident heavy hitters (Sabretooth from the UK, Ascent from Serbia, Mind Lab from Spain, Argon Sphere from Serbia), bolstered by some returning guests and close friends of the label (Solitary Shell from France, Main Ape from Poland and UNI feat. Kunmar from Japan)

Whilst LEVEL I spanned a wide range of trance subgenres, LEVEL II features a more consistent set of 10 true subterranean trance gems, the sort of secret treasures that are often found in the most remote and unexpected places - not necessarily in big releases from massive labels. These are the kind of exquisitely crafted, finely honed pleasure machines that will drive an underground dancefloor into a truly united trance-like state of abandon.

With Boom Shankar at the helm, BMSS Records once again push the boundaries of the psychedelic trance scene whilst firmly acknowledging its roots...an approach perfectly encapsulated by the palindromic mantra "Never Odd or Even".

It showcases the development of Nukleall as an artist since his debut album, Hundreds of years into future (2012), which represented the embryonic stage of his career. The progression of Nukedelica is shaped by the people and experiences Nukleall has encountered along his global journeys and represents the growth and the expansion of his personal and artistic life. Nukedelica is an infinite spiral of pure sonar energy radiating outward and inward at the same time, overwhelming as life itself can be. Representing a metaphor of eternity, change and growth. Behind the Nukleall project there is Ale Mistretta,italian psytrance artist and label manager of Blacklite Records. Nukleall has always been involved in electronic and rock music, frequently moving in alternative directions and searching continuously experimental sounds and projects. Since his first Live Act in 2008, Nukleall started to push more his music career, totally committing himself to his artistic life. After the creation of Looney Moon in 2004 with Dj Fog and Phobos and the experience of the whole music industry and scene, hedeparted from the the Looney project due to different artistic visions and decided to found his own Label, Blacklite Records. Along the years, Nukleall managed to build up a strong reputation in the psytrance scene and his Label has grown enough to keep him committed and to make out of Blacklite his project for life. He had already the chance to play in some of the best parties and festivals in the world and he is constantly working in new environments that can positively affect his music, projects and art. Nukleall’s style has been defined as morning psytrance music with a fat and groovy dancing vein, tightly balanced with a strong whirling and psychedelic atmosphere. His first solo album “Hundreds of years Into the Future” has been released in November 2012 under Blacklite Records and from that moment, his artistic flow neverstopped, bringing to light some of the most powerful productions onthe worldwide Psytrance scene.

In Lak Ech is the project of Israel Herrera and Carlos Alarcón both from Mexico, this project was formed in 2007 and have achieved internationalization since 2012 playing in festivals such as Hadra Trance Festival (France), Aho Festival (Brazil), Modem Festival ly ll, (Croatia) Ometeotl Festival (Mexico), Goa Dupa Festival (Poland), Sonica Festival (Italy), Free Earth Festival (Greece), Poison Festival (Mexico), Freqs of Nature Festival (Germany), Blackmoon Festival (Italy) among others. Their style is unique within the Psychedelic trance scene and has matured to the passage of auditory and personal experiences over the years. 

Their character and passion led them to create in 2015 the debut album called "In Lak Ech - The Hikury Tales" released by Catalyst Records and obtaining the second place in Beatport's chart. They also have released a large number of tracks in different V/A compilations launched by important Psytrance labels, managing to be always active and fresh in the course of 11 years of psychedelic immersion. They are currently signed with the label "New Skulls Records" where their most recent EP called "Mezcal" will soon be available and they are also preparing their second studio album. Both have other well known alternative projects in the Psytrance scene such as Haffman - Jungle Haze - Cocodrilo and Conami Kode. 

In Lak Ech is the example of dedication, patience and perseverance that is required to produce Psychedelic Trance in high quality standards.
