Kolors is not your average compilation; the project explores the individual visual perception of color and how that compares to the unique auditory experience of music.

The 15 contributing artists have all chosen a color to define the essence of their track. The selected colors expand the traditional spectrum with on-point specifics like ‘Matt Silver,’ ‘Lunar White’ and ‘Mint Green’. Regardless how many adjectives used, everyone will see these colors differently, and that is exactly the point! The experience of colors, like music, is subjective.

The project’s rich concept adds layered depth and gives listeners an expanded auditory experience. The colors are well considered and one hears the artistic intention behind the labeling.

In a profoundly personal, artistic revelation artists also provided the reasoning behind their selection, evoking instant imagery and placing listeners in the mind of the musician. Of their track, ‘Lunar White’, John Charnis & Jimmy Maheras said, “When we wrote the song the melodies reminded us of the moments in a dark dance floor where people's faces were illuminated, whether by strobe lights and lasers, or the glow of the moon in an outdoor party.” That visual association becomes abundantly clear when one listens to the corresponding music. On ‘Fuchsia’ Dance Spirit say, “’Fuchsia’ is the color of universal harmony and emotional balance and helps to create harmony and balance in every aspect of life. That is what we are trying to attain through the message of this song, and our music in general.”

The album takes listeners on an oculauditory journey through time and space; from Julien Chaptal’s lush and peaceful ‘Orange’ to Doomwork’s moody and introspective ‘Midnight Blue’, the LP tells a story. Kolors features seasoned Supernature artists like Den Ishu (who also releases under Desolat and Noir), Carlos Sanchez (a young gun, blazing the industry by storm, receiving praise from industry veterans like Danny Tanaglia and Richie Hawtin) and Audiofly to name a few- but true to their standard the label focuses on emerging talent. Affirming the strength of the label’s talent pool, even the new family members deliver auditory joy in epic proportions.

New to the imprint, Balcazar & Sordo’s “Blue”, is pure tantric! The track demonstrates beautiful restraint, true energy control, feeding one deep, groovy bass line after another in perfect cadence. On the duo Maceo Plex has been quoted saying, ‘These guys are very close to writing a big hit, I can tell”. Well if they haven’t already this is probably the one. Expect to hear it across dance floors this summer.

This album invites you to experience music differently from everybody else, on your own personal terms, based on your own vision. Art is subjective, what you see may not be what I see, and that is the beauty of it. So sit back, and give it a listen... or 10, stroke your chin and ponder deeply. Unlike most dance albums, or label for that matter, Supernature and Kolors wants you to do more than dance, they want you to think and feel and groove - they want you to experience music on a whole new level.

Full Intention are finally back in 2013 with a stunning EP on Rebirth. Michael Gray and Jon Pearn need no introductions. Spreading their dominating sound for the last 15 years they have been a pioneering force on the global dance music scene. The pair has secured a seemingly non-stop string of successful releases and remixes, escalating the twosome of true global status. They produced numerous huge club and charts hits, nearly all of them became all-time classics. Their discography includes such great tunes, like ‘I Love America’, ‘I’ll Be Waiting (with Shena)’, ‘Spanish Hustle’, ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’ and Sex-o-sonique ‘I Thought It Was You’, to name but a few. They have worked with
some of the biggest names in the industry, like Jamiroquai, George Michael, Whitney Houston, Dina Vaas, Barbara Tucker, Mood 2 Swing, Junior Jack, Brandy, Ultra Nate, Jennifer Lopez, Sugababes and Bob Sinclar – and not to forget the Grammy nomination for their remix of George Michael’s ‘Amazing’. Their sound had a huge impact on the whole scene and influenced many other big producers. DJ’s, Producers and label owners, Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie (AKA Inland Knights) have created a brand name that most House heads have heard of.  Whether you like it deep , tech or more funky – when you think about Drop Music or Inland Knights a certain style of House comes to mind that is uniquely their own. Andy and Laurence’s reach is global, and their label’s continue to produce some of the finest House music 15 years after they started back in the UK, within Nottingham's party scene.

Andy and Laurence  met in ’93 and cut their teeth Dj’ing for Smokescreen, the renegade sound system from which they drew their early inspiration. Smokescreen consisted of dj’s, lighting people, sound people, a truck, a P.A, a generator and general helpers. Old warehouses, woodland, fields, quarries and houses were utilized with the sole intention of having a good time…. for free! By the mid 90’s smokescreen could guarantee a crowd of hundreds in attendance at their parties(which were most weekends), and their club nights became local institutions that ran for years with packed dancefloors. Into their 21st year, Smokescreen are still going strong and are still hosting quality club nights and parties in and around the Midlands.

By ’98 Laurence and Andy had made the inevitable step into production and the same year their fledgling label, Drop Music, was born. With the release of ‘Inland Knights vol 1’ , Riley and Ritchie undertook a busy schedule to write tracks for Drop  (almost all of the early output was Inland knights, despite many monikers). Drop Music has gone on to become one of the most highly regarded House labels in recent years (with 80 plus releases to date), and Inland Knights have gone on to become one of the most respected and prolific production outfits in the House community, carving a unique and distinctive House sound, and regularly taking on remix and Ep duties for fellow labels and producers. Highlights include the acclaimed ‘Mohammed Ali’ remix for Faithless on Cheeky Records, CD compilations and remixes for NRK and Om Records, three Ep's on 2020 Vision, Inland Knights first full length album entitled ‘Creative Spaces’, and more recently, Inland Knights album to mark 10 years of Drop Music entitled ‘Dust till Dawn’, not to mention countless Ep's on other labels over the years and a 30-minute live mix on Radio 1’s ‘Essential Selection’ show. More recently, the pair released 'Inland Bytes', a retrospective look at Inland Knights career so far.

Currently, as well as remix, production and label commitments, the pair maintain a busy international Dj schedule which takes them further and further afield as their reputation grows. Bookings have included regular slots at UK clubbing institutions such as Fabric, The End, The Egg, The Cross, Turnmills, Shindig, Back 2 Basics,  Sanky's, Chibuku Shake Shake, Ministry Of Sound, Cargo, Déjà Vu, The Arches and The Sub Club in Scotland, as well as smaller more intimate venues nationwide. Countless international trips have seen them tour the Globe. Most weekends Inland Knights can be found DJ'ing up and down the UK or Europe with regular international tours a permanent fixture in their Diaries.

Personality wise, he is a quiet achiever! Behind the decks he will and has mixed it with the best… Jeremy J has the reputation as the DJ’s DJ. A near perfect ear, a brand of house, tech, breaks, hip hop, disco, acid jazz and funk that defines great music and the seamless way of compiling tracks together creating the ultimate party vibe. His diversity to play amongst any DJ or act amongst these genres is second to none.

Residing in Cairns, Jeremy J burst onto the national scene through the mix ‘If It Aint Broken Don’t Fix It’ through AKA/Triple J and his own compilation release (House2Hard Vol 2), tours and role with GeneratioNext. 

Holding residencies with every major club and bar in Cairns and surrounding areas, playing or instigating festivals, supporting and bringing a plethora of acts to North Queensland and across the country, for a regional town his career has been in a class of its own. Respected and revered for enriching the north’s club and music scene with his partnerships in Electric Avenue, GeneratioNext, Tastey and Deep North, he is not afraid to put the music first. Whether it be DJ’s, bands, electronica or hip hop, Jeremy J has always strived to give the regional area’s of North Queensland the entertainment and respect it deserves. 

Having been voted #1 in the North Queensland Elec:Tropica DJ award poll, industry achievement awards, events and having won first place in a national mix up competition via Triple J, Jeremy has earned his right place amongst the upper echelon.
