Argentinian based DJ/Producer OSWLD joins Soma in 2014 and debuts Tragicaller under his new alias 04LM. With some storming releases under his belt on the fantastic Non Series, 04LM brings his more melodic & haunting sound to the Soma ranks. One of the UK’s biggest Techno exports and Blueprint Records label head, James Ruskin, joins 04LM for a bone crunching remix.

Title track Tragicaller growls in with dark, chugging percussion and one mean bass line. Slowly and surely the tracks evolves, eerie pads float atop brash hi hats and shakers and well defined sequences keep the track flowing, heavy atmospheres in the background rise higher keeping the temperature of this on high!

James Ruskin weighs in with his version of M Place. Hard hitting from the get go. A mighty kick drums bangs across the spectrum as 04LM’s main melody pulses in the background. Chopped up percussion slices through giving this track a fantastic groove. James takes his remix into heavier territories as an almighty bass binge rockets through the heart of his version.

The original version of 04LM’s M Place closes the EP. Hollowed out percussion seals a perfectly haunting melody that sweeps in balanced by slightly distorted atmospheres.

04LM creates a distinct sound with his originals while Techno pioneer Ruskin jacks up proceedings nicely.

A change of direction for this EP as the talented Mathilde Crow has designed three ambient soundscapes. Produced to the highest degree, these ethereal and moving tracks will take you to another world. Based on Förm’s “Vostok”, resident and co-founder of Disconnekt Berlin Stallo contributes to this selection with his spaced-out minimalistic adventure. Expanding the range of styles within the selection with slower pace, its deep low-end, and atmospheric sound design, this more functional approach is made for sweaty club nights – let’s go!

For more than 1 year, the Russian government under Wladimir Putin has been ruthlessly attacking the Ukraine and its people – inducing and waging a war that nobody needed. Communities, cities, and whole regions were destroyed, people assassinated, murdered, expelled, and harmed in so many ways – with more and more war crimes and atrocities to be discovered. After the military offensive, more than 18 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Ukraine and beyond the borders. We cannot end this war but privileged to keep on living our normal lives in central Europe, we feel the urge to help. This is why we decided to donate all proceeds of this release in favor of the people that are suffering. As trusted and experienced charity organization, UNHCR will use these donations to support the people in Ukraine as well as refugees in neighboring countries. After the success of his Uncage debut EP "SUP?" last summer which was supported by a some of the major tastemakers of the scene, we're really happy to welcome back fast-rising Ackermann from Stuttgart, Germany for his second EP on the label. 

He didn't mess around this time and delivered two straight driving techno bombs in his bouncy head-bopping style! On top there are brilliant remixes by two of the best upcoming producers at the moment: Gene Richards Jr., who is coming hot after his debut EPS on Uncage anD Truncate's WRKTRX.
