Marcin Krupa came to our attention last year with his hypnotising track ‘Spa House’ released on Astropical Tapes. Currently residing in Konstancin-Jeziorna, Poland and originally hailing from Warsaw, Marcin is one of a slew of Polish producers making sublime house music and turning heads in a country largely dominated by Techno. His next release, due late May, features four equally special cuts of rich, warm, sample-based grooves and has already picked up early support from the likes of Moxie, Mall Grab and Detroit Swindle. Marcin has delivered us a mix that perfectly sums up the transition into summer, the feeling that the winter weight has lifted and the anticipation that everyone's favourite season is upon us. We are delighted to welcome YAM selectors to the fifth edition of the Sounds In Lieu mix series. Since opening their record shop in Holdron's Arcade, Peckham in 2014, they have gone on to establish themselves as trusted and sought after DJ’s and record collectors. Recently described as the 'beating heart of South London', YAM get the blood pumping with this 1hr and 15 minute offering, a mix that takes you from 70’s Japanese disco to more recent house and techno releases and everything in between. Highlights include the next instalment of their @yamrecords imprint, the hotly anticipated Leonidas “Shesha (Dub)”, as well as a lovely Italo disco record from Amnesie With The Nicolosi Family – Turas and closing with a lush Taeko Ohnuki track.
