Neutron is one of the founders and artisthandler of Spoken Groningen. I focus on rolling beats while also keeping sets as diverse as possible. I'm active in Groningen's underground nightlife and have a passion for pushing the forever rolling sound in the city.

Next up on the vsmn podcast series is Gustavo Lima, known well as A Thousand Details in portugals techno scene. 

Porto based DJ & producer A Thousand Details made himself a name in the scene with tons of quality releases.  He already released on proper labels like: Hayes, Diffuse Reality, Olympian, Anaoh and Dynamic Refection - to name a few. 

He's also managing his own label called ATD, where he's dropping podcast shows regularly.  His latest release called "Drastic Cortex" went out on his own label and is out now!

He's not only producing and djing, he also does regular streams about music production on twitch and he's also drops some killer stuff on his youtube channel.  

He describes himself as a lover of dark, fast paced music layered with distorted rhythms. He loves to loose himself in his own studio, where he's working with hardware synths, drum machines and also his own eurorack.

In his scene his he's known a collector and lover of electronic music, which already gave him gigs in Portos club scene like - Gare and Plano B. He also had the honor to play at one of the most famous festivals in Portugal called Neopop. 

In his set for verschwommen he came up with deep, dark rhythms and raw sounding techno records.

The next record from the bright young NDV stable comes from a couple of outrageously talented folk by the name of Chris Woodward (Buzzinfly) and Antanas Antanelis. This is the first record from these guys and they're no novices. This crafted and heavy hitting slice of house is a perfect fit for the NDV mould. The Magnificent Afrikaan Donce EP is full of chunky house tones, shades of MPC, hip hop and sample based house along with a tougher edge.

These guys have a lot of experience releasing music under alternative monikers for labels like Drumpoet Community, Buzzin Fly and others, but it's NDV who get the courtesy of presenting their first offering as the duo Chris & Antanas.

To top it off, this EP has 2 remixes which don't mess about. Both of these blew us away, it is safe to say this whole record came together easily. First up we have the man, the legend........ MR G!! Fresh off the back of a new album and with plenty of fuel still in the tank, Mr G picks up the pace and applies his trademark rolling housey/techno groove to some thick and moody pads. He brings out a pure evolving feeling with this super clean re-cut.

The icing on this already delightful cake comes from Manchester's man of the moment - Oli Furness. A good friend and the fearless leader of Music Is love and MIL. He is on red hot form at the moment and flips the B side with some absolutely funkadelic swagger and jazz-tastic remoulding of the original....we're marking this remix as his finest work yet.

Cristoph’s first offering to Truesoul comes in the shape of a two track, tech house delight. Lead track ‘Genesis’ holds a pounding bass line and distorted vocals. The slow but steady build up, alongside the deep synth stabs, creates an intensive groove. ‘Exodus’ comes packed with atmospheric vocals and funky percussion. The two tracks together create an emotive and fast paced release – one not to be missed.

I have been in contact with Eric since his first release on Platform 22 back in April this year. His attitude and taste has been inspiring to say the least. 
With a compelling twist between House a Techno his music takes you on a journey of soul and happiness. His desire for hardware is admirable along with a work ethic unlike most others. With an approach that is honest and true to he is tastes the future is looking bright for this talented young artist.

Nez Techno Mix Feb '21

System Revival ’s project was born (prematurely) in the second half of 2020 with 2 emergency charity compilations aiming to raise funds for relief efforts in Beirut after the port explosion in August. 

The label plans to continue curating such charity compilations for various causes quarterly in 2021

next one to be released on March 4th via Bandcamp called 'Zero Hunger' raising funds for the World Food Programme. And to follow, will come another one in June.

''We aim to identify the need to pursue a better future for ourselves (as people) and our environment (as our planet). Bringing people together through art & music is something extremely positive and helping the people in need is essential, to stay grounded and not take things for granted.''
