Title track 'Borealis' opens with raw intensity and is riddled with emotion from the get-go. The track fuses a rolling bass-line, beautiful pads and scintillating synth-work, a combination that makes for an inimitable sonic experience.

The second track 'For Better Days' is built around two beautiful melodies that cross paths as the journey unravels, leading to an epic musical moment.

Closing out the EP is 'Echoes Of Our Passage', which delves deep into to soul and ignites the passion within. It delivers a fervent feeling of hope and invincibility stemming from the delectable melody.

This is a huge EP from the Montreal pair. Brimming with musicality, it brings an untamed emotion to the dance-floor.'

There can be no denying Sergio Muñoz, aka Fur Coat. Now a native of Barcelona, his Venezuelan roots are a reminder of South America’s ever-increasing contribution to the world of electronic music. The fact he has, and continues, to be at the forefront of this Latin surge is testament to his skill and creativity.

It’s also the reason why his relationship with Renaissance continues to endure. With three singles and an album to their collective name, they now join forces once again to present the diverse Dystopia EP.

Dystopia itself is the definition of everything a title track should stand for; a heady mix of Fur Coat’s consistent ability to marry a memorable riff with effortless, production cool. “My intention was a catchy hook that played along with the sub bass,” he confirms, “evoking the classic Renaissance era, but with a modern, yet timeless vibe.” 

To ensure every drop of creative juice was wrung from the track, Sergio and Renaissance invited Musumeci and Dodi Palese to remix it in their unique, indie style. “We were instantly drawn to ‘Dystopia’s’ infectious riff and specifically wanted to celebrate that element,” they explain. 

The EP is completed by Solitary Road, which shifts a stylistic gear into the world of electronica. “It’s been great to see the return of atmospheric breaks in recent years and I really wanted to produce something that would be a worthy entry into the genre,” Sergio humbly explains, “so my focus was once again on the all-important melodies with detuned chords and catchy riffs.”

Inner Symphony welcomes an exceptionally talented newcomer, Black Sharp, to the thriving imprint. This enchantingly delicate single, “Another Chance”, is an uplifting masterpiece. Reworked by rising star Fidan and ReCorpo, the flanking remixes round out this highly emotive and cinematic 3- track EP.

Black Sharp’s original, “Another Chance” is a story without words. Orchestral at its core, the track derives its heartwarming nature through the expressiveness of the acoustic piano and solo violin. A duet that will warm the coldest of hearts. Fidan takes the primary ethos and magnifies the violin’s expression, pulling out as much longing nature as possible. Concentrating on the groove, he adds additional organic percussion to bring it to the dancefloor. Lastly, ReCorpo’s interpretation takes all that comes before it and adds a tribal element to give the track some added depth and flavor.

Black Sharp’s “Another Chance” EP encapsulates the transportive nature of Inner Symphony. More melodic that its label siblings, Inner Symphony’s passion comes though the artists’ understanding of the arcane relationship between the music that has come before and today. Swedish DJ-producer Jeremy Olander teams up with rising melodic techno star Molø for a beautiful new single titled ''Vanadis'' - set to land via Virant on November 15.

‘We Survive’ follows on from the Beatport #1 ‘Cultum’ by Mia Mendi and Thomas Gandey which set the label off on a hit opening.

This solo release from the enigmatic producer evokes a futurists take on the new world’s dancefloors - a mysterious yet warming dystopian tale ‘We Survive’ was initially conceived as a live studio video and has developed into somewhat of an anthem, already having been performed and perfected live by Thomas around the globe.

To complement the Original Mix, Gandey also offers a Club Mix which carries the torch deeper for peak time listening. The release draws to a close with a twisted psychedelic break remix from Innervisions stalwart Alex Medina.
