Forward ever! The next edition of Tripedal Crow Records' limited vinyl lathe cut edition hits the frontlines and is ready to rumble. Led onwards by label head and heavyweight Dub visionary JahYu, the fourth instalment welcomes the prolific UK-based producer and artist Mungk to the ranks of the famed imprint. Cut onto 60 pieces of transparent 10" vinyl by Pressure Mastering, the fourth instalment of the 'Rootplate' series also gets the personal hand-stamp & numbering treatment by JahYu. Pre-order for the physical as well as the digital version will be available from 22nd October and onwards. The full release follows a week later - better mark it in your calendar - the 10" cuts will be gone sooner rather than later. Encompassing the release are two massive Dub(stepper) cuts, both JahYu & Mungk being in top form. Electrifying Steppers, each with their signature technique and sonic fashion - pure, distilled sound system fuel.

Rolling in cerebral and technoid, 'Part Of You' leads with wise vocal fragments, ethereal arpeggios and a monstrous bassline to complete the auditory picture. Futuristic and up-front with plenty of Dubstep influence, foundation sound style. Charged and driven by the electric raw voltage sound, this one's sure to get you and nearby dancefloors moving. The flip-side with Mungk on the controls kicks off with an uplifting spirit - ethereal chord hits coalescing with spring reverb characteristics. Hypnotised by the lively ambience, a stripped-down Stepper unfolds with magnitudes of low-frequency excursions. Overdriven and in full force, the resulting sine-wave onslaught leaves no bit of headroom unturned - run it selecta!

The ‘Heartless Badboys’ saga continues; it’s the second volume of the Ep that follows in footsteps of the first one, with four tracks that cover a full spectrum of sounds and bpms ranging from dubstep to jungle, all 100% Numa Crew certified ammo.
The Ep starts off with a 140 dubstep track by Lapo; a melting pot of futuristic synth sounds and spacey atmospheres driven by dub drums, make ‘Automatic Soul’ the perfect track to start walking down the streets of Heartless Badboys.  
What follows is a mood change in track number two: Leon P & Ago bring dubstep back to the rave jungle era. ‘Juju’ is a mix of hardcore rave synths, hypnotic sounds and heavy breaks. Irie!  
T-Kay’s ‘Monarch’ changes up the tempo and guides us into the world of drum’n’bass with minimalist rolling drums, a punching snare and a ‘radar’ bass that spreads out like an alarm siren.  
Lurking in the darkest corners of the streets, XL Mad’s ’Death Valley’ suddenly jumps out to close the Ep, slowing down the tempo to a 128 bpm blend of ukg and afro riddim, raw grind bass combined with old skool jungle samples.
