Did Caesar actually say "Et tu, Brute?"?

No! Of course not you dumb ass bitch!
According to Cicero, a second-hand source of the event, Julius Augustus Caesar's "true" last words were a Greek slang "καὶ σύ, τέκνον" (kaì sý, téknon), which is still in use today and translates to "You too, child?" or "You too, son?" Shakespeare coined the term "Et tu, Brute." While the meaning is the same, it is not exact.

Also, many historians claim that when Caesar was stabbed for the first time, he proclaimed "But this is violence?"

When Caesar made his way to the Senate on that fateful day, he was given a note warning him of the upcoming assassination, but he did not read it! He simply put it in his pocket and continued since he was late & in a hurry or something. (Imagine hurrying up for your own death)

I wonder if Brutus was angry at that Caesar dude since he took Brutus´s mother as a wife and then left her for Cleopatra (Queen of Egyptus)... Revenge?

According to historical accounts and Shakespeare´s play "Julius Caesar" Brutus and his remaining companions found refuge on a rock. Brutus, believing his time had come after seeing Caesar's ghost, asked his companions to assist in his suicide. Eventually, he persuaded Strato to hold his sword while he ran onto it, thus ending his life.

Julius Caesar was assassinated on March 15, 44 BC, known as the Ides of March. Marcus Junius Brutus died by suicide on October 23, 42 BC, after his defeat at the Battle of Philippi. Imagine being Brutus, committing suicide behind a R O C K what a waste in its entirety! #ThatDidNotGoAsPlanned
