We are delighted to welcome Creatures & ZeroZero to Innerground, with their heavy hitting ‘So Nice EP’! Two of the drum and bass scene's leading talents emerge with a ground-breaking four track collection that proves they can deliver the goods time and time again. Marking their Innerground debut, the prolific collaborators with roots in both Bristol and Vienna have been on a mateororic rise, with releases spanning Flex Out Audio, Overview, Rebel, Dispatch, Sofa Sound to name a few.

The title track, ‘So Nice’ opens the EP - jazzy rhode chords and reverberating vocals contrast with the clean and sharp breaks shimmering beneath. Otherworldly pads swirl to create an atmosphere like no other for this A-Side masterpiece!

‘Crying’ arrives in as the sophomore installment, cruising along dreamy piano notes and soulful vocals. Powerful horns boom above, to create a melancholy yet hopeful number!
The duo take an energetic U-Turn with ‘Roots & Culture’, racing straight into a synth lead opening, along with being the drum-heaviest track of the collection. Vocals and rattling breaks marshall the wobbling basslines that dominate, this is one for the sound systems!

‘I Just Wanna Love You’ seals the EP with buckets of atmosphere. Airy pads initiate beneath enchanting female vocals and twinkling rhodes that protrude from the chopping synths.
The EP is a testament to the production prowess of one of D&B’s most loved teams - if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Tyke’s musical style mimics his former days as a graffiti artist, covering London’s rail network - both still distinctively sharp, stark and vibrant. Recently signed to Hype and Pascal’s mighty Playaz imprint, and with early support from Hazard, Jumping Jack Frost and Nicky Blackmarket, 
 the once semi-pro footballer’s meteoric rise through the D&B ranks has been remarkable.

Originally from Essex, Solo Jane is an Alt RnB X Dance Artist now based in the D&B capital, Bristol. Known for combining soulful vocals with a blend of catchy, melodic and emotional lyrics and bass heavy productions that leave you compelled to dance!

Their new Single ‘The Feeling’ marks a very special Innerground Records debut. Wobbling basslines and racing breaks combine with enchanting vocals from Solo Jane, to create an instant earworm. These frequent collaborators have developed a formula to deliver the goods each and every time!

Tyke - The Feeling (feat. Solo Jane)

Polaris, a Romanian-born, classically trained musician, has brought a unique and cinematic sound to Toronto's drum-n-bass scene, contrasting the city's grittier tradition. After gaining prominence locally, he made a global impact in 2016 with collaborations like “NBD” and “Conduit,” and releases on major labels like Hospital Records and Technique Recordings. The producer’s tracks have made an unquestionable impact, with "The Light In Your Eyes" being named one of Hospital's top ten tracks of 2016, along with two other songs featuring on the official soundtrack for the video game Forza Horizon 4. 

The exciting producer now delivers his debut Innerground Single, ‘One More Time’ - soulful vocals intertwine with a grooving bassline and shimmering cymbals. Jazzy piano notes and a racing drum break propel the track forwards, completing a feel-good, ‘sunshine’ drum & bass number that’s impossible not to move to!

We’re thrilled to announce the long-awaited reissue of DJ Marky & Friends Presents: The Master Plan - a seminal compilation mix from the golden era of soulful drum & bass - now returning to digital platforms in its full glory.

Originally released by Innerground Records in 2007, The Master Plan features a who’s who of D&B royalty: Calibre, DJ Marky, XRS, Logistics, Random Movement, Digital, and more. These tracks helped define a generation of sunshine-filled drum & bass, pushing the genre forward both sonically and globally.

The man who needs no introduction is back with a rework of one of the most iconic and popular tracks from his My Heroes album, “Silly”.

That’s right! DJ Marky has given “Silly” the VIP treatment with a tub-thumping amen break complimenting the smooth and soulful flow that only the Brazilian maestro can deliver. Friction has already aired the track on his BBC Radio 1 show and considering the damage the original version did, things are looking hot for this VIP remix.

The flip side is another liquid roller in the shape of “Ready 2 Go” that is jam-packed full of the summer flavour Innerground has become renowned for.

The digital package comes with an extra flourish as Nytron Power turns his attention to another hit from the ‘My Heroes” longplayer, “Bella Drix”. Nytron’s many influences around Techno, Nu-Disco, House and Electro are all present here, with an ebb and flow to the bassline that really gets the juices flowing.

Innerground Records proudly welcomes Macca into the family with this two-track stepper that is a perfect blend of dark and light.

"Rise N Grind" gets the ball rolling with a minimal approach to a heavy and brooding dancefloor number. The track rolls out gently before getting to the gritty horn fanfare and accompanying basslines. Sounding like a call to arms with a staccato beat and sometimes throbbing low-ends, this is one for the rave generals to savour.

"Special Lady" is a switch of pace and has that classic, glittery Innerground sound. A sultry amen gives way to a deep and soulful bottom line that swims in the eardrums creating that warm feeling you only get from a beautifully constructed piece of liquid DnB.

Rise N Grind

Calibre is a name known to all in Drum & Bass as one of the pinnacles of the genre. It’s impossible to venture into a club and not hear one of his seminal tracks being played, and with this latest addition to his Innerground repertoire the good times are still coming.

Kicking things off with “Typical Things”, we go back in time to the iconic sounds of the Musique Concrete album. The track switches quickly after opening with a drizzle of cascading keys and minimal percussion before launching headfirst into a pulsating and invigorating combination of basslines and breaks.

“Simple Sa” is more deliberate in its advances and spares no time in getting to the heart of the matter after some truly deft piano work and vocal sample layering. “Simple Sa” is almost tailor-made for a DJ Marky set as it ebbs and flows with an undeniable funk and deep vibe throughout.

Calibre’s attention to his craft is what makes him one of the most sought after producers on the planet, and “Typical Things / Simple Sa” is a testament to his enduring abilities. Smooth, sultry and truly of the highest Calibre.

DJ Marky is really ramping up the pressure from his Innerground imprint, this time in the shape of a release from the man himself.

Launching with Should I, we get a beautifully constructed track, custom-built for summer and screaming INNERGROUND from start to finish. A leisurely intro quickly gives way to a sublime bassline littered with the kind of vocal that has become synonymous with the Brazilian marque. 

Next up we have Love Break, which levels up the energy and intensity without breaking from it’s “liquid” stride. Another well-thought-out production that has many, if not all, of the elements you might look for in a Drum & Bass track – liquid-tinged darkness that has the uncanny ability to not only move you, but surprise you at the same time.

“Should I/Love Break” continues DJ Marky’s tradition of creating some of the most seminal tracks in the genre and his knack for building releases drenched in summer vibes all year round.

The final instalment of the Innerground album sampler singles features two of the heavy hitters in the production stakes in recent times. The tried and tested combination of DJ Marky & Makoto has brought many a dancefloor to its knees, whilst new addition, T>I, has shown he has the mettle to dice with some of the biggest names in the game. 

DJ Marky & Makoto bring their unmistakable affinity for keys to “Bloody Mary”, with a beautiful arrangement that just oozes soul. Coupled with the heavy bassline it is set to make you move.

T>I has shown he is a trued DnB superstar in the making with some serious, deep offerings previously on the Innerground imprint. “2nd Chance” shows the softer slightly more bouncy side to his nature as it ebbs and flows between bass drops and shimmies along with the beat.


Following on from the impressive success of the Sounds Of The Innerground album, DJ Marky has seen fit to unleash an EP (or mini album) of pure summer jams, just in time for the sun to come out and bless us with its presence!

Featuring on this digital only release we have some of the heavy hitters of recent times with some soulful DnB to keep those long summer nights moving.

Kicking off with one from tried and tested funk duo, DJ Marky & Makoto, and their ode to melodic DnB, "Jazzy". When these guys hit the studio, sparks fly and we can see that in this track, which is the first of two diamonds from the pair. Big beats, guitar riffs and big basslines - what more can you ask for?

Next up, Level 2 with a cheeky number sure to put smiles on faces. It's great to welcome Level 2 back to the fold after his impressive debut "Murder On The Dancefloor" smashed the place apart. With "Love Insane", however, he has shown the deeper side to his nature with more of a lovers track than a dancefloor killer.

Submorphics returns with a trademark sizzler in the shape of "Hazel Street". Anyone who has been to a DJ Marky show recently will have heard this one on heavy rotation because it's a track so soulful it hurts! Beautiful male vocals layered over some gentle keys - perfect for a lazy day watching the sun go down.

T>I has really gone about establishing himself in the Innerground stable, and here he comes correct again with a well measured track that gives the whole EP a new dynamic. T>I really has an ear for the staccato beats and an enticing bassline, and here in "Reassurance" we can hear it in all its glory.

The penultimate track is another DJ Marky & Makoto collaboration, "Konfused". The name of the track is apt, as it drifts from the sound DJ Marky & Makoto fans are accustomed to, to a more dramatic bassline before lilting back to the magical keywork you'd be expecting in the breakdown. 

And finishing things off we have Austria's finest, Roy Green & Protone featuring the vocal skills of Dorian and their track "Watch Me". A gentle roller this one, that shows off all the finer sides of the DnB genre and the real depth of audio range that can be achieved when it is done properly. A bit of sax always goes down nicely ina track like this and when the bassline hits it really packs some punch!
