In order to raise awareness of the needs of indigenous peoples, we are happy to be part of this great initiative and to join forces with our amazing colleagues from different parts of the world to celebrate 'International Indigenous Peoples' Day'. 
 Indigenous peoples are inheritors and practitioners of unique cultures and ways of relating to people and the environment. They have retained social, cultural, economic, and political characteristics that are distinct from those of the dominant societies in which they live.  
 Covid-19 and its consequences are keeping the whole world on alert. For more than a year now, we have been seeing new waves of outbreaks in several countries and regions of the world. In this sense, 500 million indigenous people, in urban or rural areas of the planet are also at risk because of their social vulnerability. The risk of indigenous genocide in the midst of the pandemic is dizzying and can have serious consequences since viruses and diseases of this type have contributed to reducing the world's indigenous population over the centuries.

Thus, several podcast channels have joined forces to celebrate 'International Indigenous Peoples' Day'. This with a focus on donations for indigenous peoples affected by Covid-19 in Brazil led and managed by 'United for a Living Amazon', a volunteer movement made up of citizens and non-governmental organizations that have been working in the Amazon for decades, united for a common and urgent cause. Isatta Sheriff and Koralle strike again! ‘Will They Try’ is the third single from the upcoming EP ‘Eat The Kiwi Skin’ by the East London MC and the Bologna-based beat smith. Through her purposeful lyrics which Isatta has become renowned for, we witness her poetically reflect on her battles to get to this point in her musical career. 

“This is the most important track on the EP as it addresses the exploitation of Black women in hip hop, and the exploration of hip hop in general. We have started to talk about the countless Black female singers and songwriters in dance and hip hop music who go uncredited in the U.K, and I wanted to extend the conversation to Black female rappers and explore the racial politics and misogynoir connected to this. 
People often ask the same questions regarding women’s position in hip hop, and I ask ‘will they try to understand’ the full scope of the problem and then DO something, because the conversation is stuck and needs to progress.” - Isatta

Produced by Koralle, the soul-filled production combines elements of Jazz and Hip-Hop, with the saxophone colliding perfectly with her lyrics to allow the story to unfold. The artwork was created by Colombian illustrator SagaUno who also did the covers for The Silhouettes Project (2020) and Koralle's Beat Kiosk (2021). 

‘Eat The Kiwi Skin’ will be available digitally and on LP (including instrumental edits of all tracks for the beat lovers out there) on September 23rd.

Isatta’s track record includes collabos with Flying Lotus, Oddisee, Arrested Development and Athletic Progression. She is hosting a radio show, runs her own label Doctored Sound and works as a music writer. Koralle is one of the most in demand European beatmakers with a sound rooted in jazz and boom-bap. Since signing with MPM in 2019, he has released three albums and accumulated more than 30 million streams. The duo’s first collabo ‘Laid Back’ was released in 2021 as part of Koralle’s album Fonografie.

Patiperro EP is the first official release of El Extravagante, @FelipeNadeau side project, a release through Regional Label. A mix of Electronic Folklore, Digital Cumbia and World Music, with the remixes of some of the most promising artists of these genres in Latin America. 

Patiperro in the Chilean slang means someone who travels a lot (somehow like an adventuring street dog) and this EP is about that. Made in between Niagara Falls/Toronto in Canada and Santiago de Chile, with influences from all over the world through a Latin perspective, El Extravagante puts up an EP with instruments played by him like Didgeridoo (Australia, place where he lived for 1 year), Sytar & Tabla (from India featuring Kishor and Pablo), Claves, Latin Drums, Zampoña and of course, analog synthesizers and digital software such as Ableton Live and Reaktor, all with the latin touch and flavor.
