The Race

Innerspeaker is an indie/alternative band based in Athens, Greece.
They formed back in 2013 as The Underdogs and after a few months of rehearsals, they started live performances and creating their own material.
Since they were not so keen on getting trapped in the genres game, you may trace alternative pop, post rock, indie and new wave elements combined in their music, always looking for atmospheric soundscapes.
They digitally released their first E.P "Snowball Effect" during November 2014, which contained 4 tracks.
They released their first full length album during June 2016, called "Paths", featuring 10 songs. The publishing of the album was theirs and the distribution by Inner Ear Records.
Spent the next two years playing gigs and festivals, working with other musicians and their producer Nick "Ottomo" Angloupas, which effectively brought a quite large amount of ideas for tracks.
Throughout the first three quarters of 2019, they were at Fab Liquid Sound Studios, recording, mixing and producing their follow-up l.p "Into The Voodoo Lab", released on May 1st 2020 by Nipper's Music & Bantha Recordings. 
Four singles already launched from the album, "Alive", "The Race", "You're Not Alone" & "Little Death". A quick listening of these tracks, prepares for a fresh, multi-orientated album, sounding like different steps to the same trip. Multi-rhythmic percussion, dreamy guitars, solid bass lines, vocal harmonies, loop effects and vintage synths may be found all over this work.
