@tunnelvisions1 return to their home label @Atomnation for a fourth fantastic release in the last three years. This six track excursion builds on the pair's warm, richly melodic and always hypnotic style with fantastically colourful results.

Tunnelvisions is Emiel van den Dungen and Raynor de Groot. Both artists keep busy with their own solo projects (Milio and Coloray respectively) but continue to find fascinating middle ground when they come together in the studio. 2020 saw them step out on Moscoman's Disco Halal and Solomun's Diynamic, while they have also been remixed to great effect with influential DJs like Dixon and Tale Of Us playing the results. Now, though, they are back on Atomnation with another superb collection of cuts.

The undulating 'Acid Neverland' opens up with its succulent and supple drums overlaid with heavenly chords and glowing pads. Coloray's vocals are then layered in to bring some drive and attitude to this most compelling of tracks. 'King Cobra' is a dubby delight. Its airy hi hats, bulbous bass notes and tripped out melodic motifs all sinking you into a trance.

There is more angst and energy to the malfunctioning melodies and steel-plated drums of 'Mirrored Identities' while 'Waiting For The Morning' is a perfect dreamscape. It's a super widescreen track with deft pads coming in and out of focus, glistening melodies reflecting light and pulsing drums locking you in. 'Private XS' flips the vibe with more drawn out and sinewy synths gurgling and bubbling away as they ride up and down the scale like a slow motion cosmic explosion. Last but not least, 'End of Time' has the most pop hooks and catchy riffs of the lot. They dart about the mix as smeared pads and crunchy, punchy drums encourage you to cut loose.

This is another masterfully cohesive collection of colourful dance floor cuts that take in pop, techno and synth music and skew them the unique lens of Tunnelvisions.

Opening with « Wiser » , deep velvety kicks, heavenly synths juxtapose in the most melodic techno way. 

Dodi Palese adds his unique flavour to « Wiser » his remix is a big dark disco anthem with huge bassline, well swung drums and a lead synth that will get hands in the air. Perfect vibes that assure smiling faces on the floor. 

For closing this EP « Dormoy » navigates indie dance & melodic techno waves, accompanied by a silky bassline and hard-hitting drums.

We are thrilled to present "STOP" remixes, masterful reworks of selected tracks from Squire's debut album. Whilst "STOP" documented a time of inner reflection during lockdown, the new remixes give a different take on these unique sounds - for the now, and for the future.

Berlin based producer Emanuel Satie has left many a dance floor imprint with work on Cocoon and Crosstown amongst others. His rework of "You Make Me Feel Alive" is a stripped-back moody club mover, where his interpretation of original elements are left to breathe whilst still transporting the listener to a smoke filled room.

Kadosh is well versed in delivering an epic on his own imprint Frau Blau Music. He takes Rachel Bachman's vocal story and twists it into a haunting ethereal tale where they join a cacophony of melodic subtlety ready to soundtrack a world of experiences. 

Completing this selection of stalwart remixers come Disco Halal head-honcho Moscoman alongside Tel Aviv's OMRI. take an altogether different spin on "Salvation", where powerful synth and unostentatious percussion delivers a straight-up and unique understanding of Pilar Icazuriaga's lyrics.

The album features the most sought after and requested tracks of the last month including „My City's On Fire“, revolutionary „Der Aufstand“, dancefloor romance „Burning“ and „Clinomania“ featuring Joy Tyson, and fabulous Lily Allen / Elton John drummer Nathan Curran. The artwork concept is developed and designed by iconic graphic artist Trevor Jackson, whose multi-disciplinary works formed the graphical identities of design, music, fashion, and art by the likes of Soulwax, HFD / Comme des Garcons or Apple Music. Jimi Jules’ second album signifies his return to future-focussed album concepts. A welcomed novelty and venture. A unique character in the electronic music scene, Jimi Jules is a multi-instrumentalist and school-trained musician with much more to offer than the standard four-to-floor sound. Jimi plays nearly everything from drums to trumpet and sings almost all the vocals himself. The talent probably lies in his roots, as many of his family members are known for their playing in jazz bands and classical ensembles. Most recently awarded a silver disk marking 200,000 copies of the 2020 track “Pushin On” in the UK, Jimi Jules also commenced a new collaborative partnership with Berlin-based booking agency, Temporary Secretary, earlier this year. 

As the new era is underway for Innervisions, Jimi Jules “+” takes center stage of the label’s fundamental core - artist first, label second. For Jimi Jules especially, this new project represents the beginning of a whole new platform and innovative space for collaborations and symbiosis of mixed media.
