A mortuary of bridges burnt refuse to turn to dust 

Anaesthetising your mistakes 
You're dragging a magnet over the tapes 
Erasing your guilt, your pride, your high horse alibi 
You scold your hands to save face 
Yet yours is already crumbling away 
Exposing the shade you're so desperate to hide 

Your tongue tied in barbed wire, a story full of holes 
You're drowning in your impotence, the victim of your own words 
You've spun your spin far too thin, now it's the truth that bounces back 
Round up the breadcrumbs, for the scent's already out 
Your picture perfect spotlight comes crashing to the ground 
You don't believe in consequence? Well this should shake your faith

Track 3 comes all the way from the west coast. It's a story I related to in my own life and has a message which i think is really important in any situation. 'Keep in the moment, keep in the now'. Accepting people's pasts and living for the now is key to any happy relationship I think. This was a story of a couple who got back together and how challenging it can be having history but finally learning to let it all go. Los Angeles is one of my favourite places in America so I was really happy this story came from there.
